Pretty good deskElizabethI had to build this desk by myself so it’s a little loose, however I didn’t expect to see damage within a 3 month time period. I wouldn’t discourage purchasing this desk as it does its job, however I wish it weren’t stainable and easily damaged. Overall it’s a good product with fixable issues for
IKEA to invest in. (Photos show stains that have been repeatedly washed)3
perfect for me!MiruyoI was looking for a small desk and this is perfect!
Easy to assemble.
I was little frustrated when I put the drawer at the end but figured out that I just needed the angle to put it in.
I love this desk!5
Desk draw remorseRubenThe desk has a nice design. It feels stable on a wood laminate floor. I don’t like the desk draw. It makes clicking noises every time I open and close it. I found that it’s the draw rail screws that rub against each other. I tighten all the draw rail screws more. I put clear tape the screws to minimize the clicking noises. It worked for a short time but the clicking noises return again. Also, for a desk draw that wide there is no center support for putting heavier things inside like a laptop. The supplied adhesive covers to cover the cams are cheap—very flimsy. And just below the desk draw on each side there are two exposed predrilled holes. It looks like an unfinished desk.3
I love the MICKEAnnaThe desk is absolutely perfect for the space and it was super simple to put together.. love it!5
DeskEstelaIt’s beautiful and easy to assemble!!! And cheap!!!!!5
Easily scratchedThomasThe top of the desk was scratched upon delivery.1
Sewing room tableLaurawhile this was a challenge to construct, after about 2 hours finally got it finished. Works well for the sewing room5
Great address to my desk!TheresaThis Micke White desk was a great addition to the desk I already have. I was about to use this desk to make an L shape for my office set up. It's a great help for my arm to rest on while I works and use the key board. It helps my shoulder too. The extra space is perfect too!5
DeskSusanaI like it because it a small desk not to bulky.5
Good price, works great for smaller areaMichaelGood price, works great for smaller area5
Good for tight spacesHaithamJust using as a laptop desk, pairs well with IKEA chair, has channel for cables.4
instructions are horrificAnonymous reviewerim good with ikea assembly, however the instructions change position like a pretzel. i dont have enough of the cogs that hold the pins, the holes dont line up and its a total joke.
ikea wants me to write a longer review. isnt this enuf?1
Micke deskAngelicaI absolutely love it!!5
Adequate sizeAnonymous reviewerMicke desk was the most compact size for my daughter room5
It’s a good desk if you need the spaceNickIt’s a good desk if you don’t have a lot of space BUT the metal leg is a tad strange choice, I’d rather just have two of the long wood pieces for the support but it works for what I need. The drawer could be a bit deeper/taller inside but again it works. The only thing that I found weird is the color. In the image on the site it’s specifically a lighter shade of a dark-brown but the actual product looks like it’s pretty much black. The surface of the table also had a few white marks as well at least for me it’s not much of a bother to return/get a new top part. It’s all just nitpicks honestly.
.
TL;DR - Good desk, just the metal leg is an odd choice and drawer could be larger, but it’s a great desk4
Great desk for a small spaceDeniseGot this for my daughter's college apartment which did not have much space for a larger desk. Although this is relatively small, it is perfectly adequate for what she needs--and a rolling office chair fits neatly underneath. Only MINOR issue is that the metal legs/side of the desk don't line up as neatly/cleanly as I would like--but then again, I'm sure very few people would even notice.4
Sturdy deskBarbaraSmall white desk, sturdy. I bought it for doing watercolors. It is the perfect size and even has a little cup holder.5
Great sizeAntoninoVery good for small spaces but at the same time has a large drawer and enough space for laptop, monitor and mouse5
MICKE Desk Ruined by Bad Screw QualitySumanI recently purchased the MICKE Desk, but unfortunately, the quality is very poor. The left leg assembly screw was of such bad quality that it didn’t fit properly, and the thread in the middle got stripped easily. Because of this, the entire desk became damaged during assembly. The screws feel extremely cheap, and now I have no option to rebox and return it. Very disappointed with the poor quality of parts provided.1
Love Love LoveTanyaLove Love Love this desk! Had to return it because it was too wide for my space but it was hard to let go. Had to get the Torald desk at Ikea instead bc that is for smaller spaces. 5
