Misleading LaseannaIn the description, it says that the mounting brackets/hardware (pegs to put it up) are included, but they are not. They even sent me a replacement which did not include them as well. So I just have shelves and no way to put them up.
Billy Book ShelfDeniseGreat Product, very easy to put together (10-15 mins) without help. The measurements are perfect for small spaces. The whith of the unit is only 11in. and doesn't take up space. I used them for clothes in my small closet instead of books. My clothes are so organized now, I love it. Excellent solution for space saving. They are a little pricey but worked for what I needed. I really wanted the black color but the cost was (more) not sure why. I had to buy 6 units for my space so I went with the white to keep the cost down. There is a drawer unit that can be purched $$ separately that goes with the book shelf as well ( definitely a bonus but costly) I purchased 4 drawers, they are nice and deep. I have recommended this product to many friends and family 🧡
Billy Shelving TammyI added additional shelving to my Billy so I can store my fat quarters for quilting. It’s perfect in size and the extra shelving makes storing fabric a breeze.
Shelves are nice but mounting hardware not so muchAngelaThese are nice shelves, but the mountain hardware is attached to bookcase in a way that makes it impossible to install in a Billy/Oxberg bookcase that is already completely assembled. I finished putting my Billy bookcase together with the added Oxberg doors only to find out that the doors cannot already be in place if you want to install these shelves. And if you decide at a later time that you need the shelves moved, you will have to remove the doors in order to do so. Glass shelf = A. Mounting Hardware: F

Great option but pricey TracieI love having the ability to add on & customize my Billy Bookshelves but the price of the add on shelves is too expensive in my opinion. I purchased 3 extra shelves and it was half of what I paid for 1 bookshelf and the bookshelf comes with 5 shelves.🤔 In addition, I do notice the quality of the product has changed. Hardware is not as sturdy and some parts have gone from metal to plastic. Assembly is always a breeze and everything always lines up!

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda, and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
