Extremely poor quality.Anonymous reviewerThree times arrived damaged.Very poor delivery by DPD even poorer packaging,no padding or any kind of protection.The parts simply wrapped in a cardboard,utterly useless.I can see IKEA try to save on packaging,well I don't think it's working.Please avoid this unit and get something else instead.
Awful,very cheaply made.Anonymous reviewerFirst of all, IKEA - STOP USING DPD.The item came completely battered.Upon opening the box,there were no corner or side paddings so every single panel got damaged,huge chunk of pieces broke off.Secondly it seemed that the parts are also soaked and started peal the top layer off.This must be the worst thing I have ever bought from IKEA,better of buying something from TEMU.Also the costumer service was unhelpful sorting anything out.
Don’t expect it to last more then a year! Anonymous reviewerYep, according to ikeas own words (I just spoke with customer service) they deem this at the end of its useful life after 1 year hence offer no warranty after that period. Issue is after that time the sides can warp and bow outwards which will then cause the boxes to fall off the rails rendering the unit useless. The unit was always used in a well ventilated area with no moisture, nothing heavy ontop of the unit and never overloaded the boxes. In fact it we replaced a 6 drawer unit for this 10 drawer unit in exactly the same spot.
Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI bought 2 of the tall trofast units on line, arrived different days, built first 1, damaged, phoned up, a replacement was being sent, opened 2nd original unit, this too was damaged, again phoned up, replacement being sent, both replacements turned up, outer packaging OK, units though, both damaged again. We have bought ikea products many times, usually in store, always good quality, but not the trofast tall units sadly.

damaged productAnonymous reviewerI received this product today and when I opened it, I saw that the paint was peeling off the edge and the box was torn. I was very upset that it was packaged so simply. I could not report the damage online either. I do not have time to return this product. I am not happy with this purchase.
Shelf is ok, terrible service and delivery Anonymous reviewerThe shelf itself is good not super stable but ok for light things.
First delivery unit was smashed at both ends and half the boxes were missing.
Was difficult to find help but eventually found contact details and got through for another delivery.
2nd attempt, Few chips on unit but nothing major so kept it as didn’t want the hassle of returning another unit. Some drawers are super stiff some glide.
Overall the unit is ok not as good as I’m used to from ikea.
The missing boxes did not get sent with redelivery, i had to wait for another 3 days for those to arrive.
I’m very disappointed in the quality and service from ikea and im sad to say this has been my last couple of experiences.
I don’t think I’ll be returning.

My 1st delivery the didn't leave as damaged in transit ,reordered and got delivered damaged on the corners ,reordered they ordered wrong unit .reorder again and came damaged spilt from left to right across the large panel.phoned them for a refund ,was on the call for around 30 mins as they didnt want to give all the money back,alot of call made over the week back and forth and wasted time .
Would never order online again have to go into store to purchase form now on
