Great design poor qualityAnonymous reviewerThis was a purchase to replace 2 if the same bought 15 years ago, 2 ordered and delivered separately one needed a replacement door as it was dented - ikea customer services was excellent and had a replacement sent. The second however was really badly dented - i didn’t report this as id already part assembled and most of the damage was internal or at the back. I think the damage was due to delivery, however the actual item us made much thinner metal than its predecessor and therefore much easier to damage. Also the white is actually cream (wish id kept my old ones!)

Sturdy cabinet - dodgy lock/keysAnonymous reviewerWe've got lots of IKEA furniture and have have never had an issue with assembly or quality. However, whilst this unit is sturdy the lock mechanism is dodgy and tight - which eventually resulted in the key becoming awkward to turn and even after tightening the keys eventually breaking off in the locks. The response from IKEA was poor to say the least as the spare parts were available if you are prepared to drive 100+ miles when my nearest store is 5 miles away. Online spare parts come from overseas and there were none available. A shame, because the cabinet is OK.

Fit for purpose storage unitAnonymous reviewerAs much as I love the unit but I would have preferred to have extra parts parts allowing to have the shelves to be positioned at different levels. Only 2 extra parts are required to do so and I was not able to even buy them as spare items.
