Exceptionally poor quality Anonymous reviewerI purchased two of the white boxes. Both are slightly different shades. One has marks all over it. The way that they are put together is bizarre. Both bases are too small leaving gaps between all four sides and the base. Even the sides are not securely connected. it looks like it's the way the sides are connected that means the base is too small. The whole thing is cheap and nasty certainly not worth £15. The way they were wrapped was ridiculous. A piece of cardboard down the sides but nothing else. While no one expects top quality with IKEA these were a joke. I don't know how people are giving positive reviews

Boxed it!Anonymous reviewerI bought some extra BRANAS boxes for my KALLAX UNIT. They make fabulous storage boxes and look new and tidy in the unit. I have had the unit for a few years now and the baskets get regular use but have stood up well too wear and tear.

Awful Quality. Not ‘boxes’, each ‘box’ comes as two pieces.Anonymous reviewerVery disappointed. Normally, you can rely on IKEA. These are shoddy, not very well made. They are NOT a one piece box, as I expected. The bottom is completely separate. You have to slot it in from the top and then hold it in place with teeny-tiny flanges. With my order some of these were missing. I had bought these for my kitchen to store packets of rice, pasta, dried beans etc and I doubt that these boxes will last long. I would have sent them back but too bulky to deal with.
Inconsistent Anonymous reviewerI bought 4 of these boxes only and only two are of the same shade, one is lighter and one is visibly more orange than yellow birch shade. The quality is also not there. Bought online.
Bad quality Anonymous reviewerAfter reading good reviews I am guttered that these are not as expected and certainly not worth the price when there are other versions available from other retailers. IKEA is usually good quality but 2of the 3 baskets I bought online are bad quality- the Ratan is dirty and has splitters and breakage, I am concerned this will damage items put inside, definitely scratch the pained shelf I planned to put them on, and splinter risk to hands- as well as looking like it won't stand up to time and likely more breakage with use. They all are not consistent in colour and have a light stripe across them, and dirt and dark spots in other places. The returns process is very frustrating, I don't understand why I am not given the option to return by post for free as they were delivered by post and still in original packaging..only option is £25 van collection or taking back to the store which is not close by. Would not recommend this product bought online as unable to check for quality

What is rattan?
Rattan is a strong yet lightweight and flexible material made from the rattan plant’s stem.
