Reviews
Love it!MarkI was most excited about this stool as part of the IKEA x Xbox collection, and it did not disappoint! There are tons of Easter eggs to discover while assembling it, so be sure to keep an eye out for them. Putting it together is very simple—it consists of just three pieces that easily click together.
It’s surprisingly comfortable to sit on, and I love that you can lean slightly on it, just like you would with a controller thumbstick. The only thing to be aware of is that the color is a bit darker green than what’s shown in the product photos. Otherwise, it’s a great product and would look awesome in any game room!
Find the hidden icons! JenniferLook before you build to see the hidden details… There is a hidden message (Hej from Almhult), an icon of Master Chief, the North Star and several others.
The stool itself is nice and sturdy, but the weight limit is disappointing (max 240lbs). Apparently Ikea doesn’t know American gamers… It would be great to see them make a larger version of this in the future.
