Well built contemporary CWe love this bed! Well made of real wood. Was easy to put together. Strong enough to support our sleep number!
Screws strip easily and Stickers on ousideFrankFirst, the bed looks nice and isnt terrible to put together. But there are a couple significant issues.
1. There are ridiculous safety stickers on the outside surfaces of the cross-rails. It took an hour to remove them and they didn't come off cleanly--had to use strong tape to get the remaining sticker material to come up. Mostly gone but not 100%. Seriously, why does the sticker say "Must not be removed". It is my product, no?
2. Most of the screws stripped. I'd like top move the rails up one because it is too low but I dont have anymore screws and the ones that came with the bed are very soft--even with only manual screw driver and the included hex driver, many stripped. Not sure how to order more.
All in all, nice looking but two issues that are significant but could be easy to fix.
Creaky and WobblyJaredThis bed looks great, but is quite creaky. It makes so much noise when laying down, it makes me wonder if it's broken. The four posts also wobble and, in my opinion, are not as strong as they look. All the instructions were followed when putting it together, but it unfortunately does not meet the usual standard of quality I've previously seen in Ikea products.
