Poor qualityKalindiUnfortunately, our Vitteryd table broke apart, with the sides and legs completely splitting in several places simply by trying to push the table into a new spot a few feet away. The table did not go together easily and there were gaps where the dowels are on the legs, but they would push back together and it looked fine. However, the strength and durability wasn't there so even moving it a few feet destroyed it. I am a big fan of IKEA and this is the first problem I've had in decades, but given this experience, I think a simple table that isn't as heavy would be a better choice - much easier to move around and less likely to fall apart. This might have been better designed with less dowels and sturdier attachments that wouldn't come apart so easily.

Just what I was looking for!SabrinaI have been wanting a lift top coffee table for a long time, but I did not love the look of the original one and was excited to see they released this one. Building the coffee table was similar to most ikea furniture. I think building a dresser is still more difficult. It took me about an hour to build by myself. The only confusing part was the spring attachment and I thought I put it on backwards and was not able to take it off, but fortunately I did it correctly. It looks great and is very sturdy!
