Great table - but it’s a beast to build.KellyWe bought several furniture items at once and easily got everything assembled but this table was a doozie. Be patient. Plan to have 2 people and someone with good dexterity to get it together. But once built it is a fabulous table for small, apartment living that can be expanded as needed.
Great TableMariaThis is a great table for those worried about space. It can close up and be put in a corner, but when you open it up you have alot of space. A strong, sturdy table well worth the money. Pretty easy to put together. Took me about 1 1/2 hours on my own.

Best purchaseGunnHands down one of my best ikea purchases. It was MUCH heavier than expected, but that gives you a MUCH sturdier table, which is more than I can say for all the many folding tables I’ve owned. When folded it is quite easy to move around with two people even with my cookbooks on the shelves. The legs are heavy metal which makes me confident in its indestructibility when moving this around. Super versatile! Looks great especially draped.
Sturdy!AlysonI typically prefer to buy solid wood furniture, so I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality of this table. I am mostly leaving this review because I too thought the shelf holes were drilled incorrectly - HOWEVER, I realized the main two sets of legs were installed backwards, which fixed the issue for me. Hope this helps someone else!

High Quality and Very SturdyGeorgiaMy spouse assembled the table and we do have IKEA assembly experience so he found no difficulty with the assembly and instructions. I am very pleased with the quality of the table as I purchased it to use as a sewing and craft table. I’m certain it would work well as a compact dining table also. Thumbs up to IKEA again for quality and value. This is not a lightweight table as it combines wood and metal. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Defective tableAnonymous reviewerStarting this review by saying that everyone at IKEA has been incredibly helpful and kind. However, this is the second time I’ve purchased this table, and it’s still a defective item. The holes do not line up - they’re WAY off. The first table was halfway built before I realized it was defective. With the second one, I started with the section that caused issues before, and sure enough, the same problem happened again. So incredibly frustrating. I just moved into a studio apt, and this would’ve been the perfect addition, but it seems like there needs to be better quality control with this item.
FrustrationImaniHeavy table with metal legs and wooden top. I assumed the whole thing was wood until it came to my door. It’s also incredibly annoying to build, as almost all the screws on the shelves and the legs need to be extremely loose to fit the shelves in properly.
Our shelve screw slots were off center, so after 2 hours of trying - we’ll now how to return it and hope the next one has correct placement holes!
Better Than AverageSaraThis table is incredibly sturdy!!! A bit tricky to assemble if you're new to "the IKEA way", but once completed, it's the best piece of furniture we've ever assembled! Very versatile as well. Just perfect!
Great workspaceLynnSet this up in our craft room. When open on both sides it gives a generous amount of space to work on our projects. When we don’t need it, it folds out of the way. The shelves underneath fit IKEA Kuggis bins nicely and keep our supplies handy.
