Our safety feature Anchor and unlock enhances the safety of your chest of drawers by significantly reducing, but not completely eliminating, the tip-over risk.
The safety feature means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to the wall in order to open more than one drawer at a time, which creates a safer environment at home.
By anchoring the chest of drawer to the wall, you unlock the safety feature and can open all the drawers simultaneously when needed.
The frame is easy to assemble thanks to the clever construction with wedge dowels that are easily pressed into the pre-drilled holes.

Nice set but....Anonymous reviewerI have the Vihals six drawer dresser that I purchased in May 2024. Its your typical Ikea piece of furniture, If you treat it well it will last a while.
I purchased the four dresser Vihals but unfortunately it doesn't fit in my bedroom.
I regret not going with the Storlinka aka mini malm. The 1 reason i didnt was because of the Vihals bottom drawer, which i do like. I just dont have enough drawers. The Storlinka offers more pieces, more options. I really just need a bigger bedroom or for Ikea to make a Vihals lingerie chest. Not sure either are going to happen anytime soon 😭

Simple, Clean, and Love the Locking FeatureDianaI was hesitant about ordering this due to having to put together the rolling drawers, but the instructions were very simple and took no time to put together. The drawer sizes were perfect for me and I absolutely appreciate the locking feature, which could prevent it from tipping over since I can't screw furniture to the wall.

Exceeded my expectationsCherylI really didn't want to assemble my own dresser but I didn't want to spend a lot either because what I wanted was to add drawers space in my closet. After researching other options then reading the good reviews on the VIHALS 4-drawer chest, I decided to go for it. It was really easy to assemble. I'm a single woman, spent $25 on an automatic screw driver, and assembled it by myself in a couple hours on a Sunday. The instructions were clear and the pieces only fit together one way so you can't make a mistake. I was worried about the drawers on a do it yourself piece - but the mechanisms are great and the drawers work perfectly. I'm very happy with this chest in the way it looks, how sturdy it is, and how easy it was to assemble.
Great cabinet!!DerrickI bought this cabinet and it was great!! Installation was easy. Drawers were smooth. And the locking mechanism for the drawers if the cabinet isn't secured to the wall was excellent!! Unfortunately I has to return it because it was a little too big for my space but I have already recommended it to multiple people!! You won't be sorry!!
