No regrets!Alice2019 we renovated our kitchen. Many options available. One was Ikea. We liked the drawer light option, drawer options, and the many ways to configure the base units. Plus, there are many accessories. After seeing a friend's 7 year old Ikea kitchen that still looked solid, we went with Ikea base cabinets. Four years later, a base cabinet that was 2 shelves was not working for me because it was hard accessing my pots and pans. My husband suggested putting in a drawer. Genius! It was an easy change. We got the drawer, changed the hinges for the doors, and now we have a pull out drawer for easier access. Could not have done that so easily otherwise. Thanks Ikea.5

Error in drill holesDavidOverall I like the ikea system and have installed four kitchens. I recently discovered a drawer front with screw holes improperly placed for a drawer. I tried several alternate drillings, none worked. Had to throw away the drawer front and buy a new one. Hopefully properly drilled!4

Drawer Does Not Actually Measure 24"Anonymous reviewerIKEA needs to do a better job describing products. This Utrusta drawer front has the correct mounting system for maximera, but it is for "inside the cab" only. It measures 22.25" - not 24".3
the instructions aren't greatPaulagreat drawer, but when placing in a sektion cabinet with intent to go behind a door, the instructions are not correct. the count is off. do yourself a solid and figure it out before you mount the drawer itself!4

What is fibreboard?

Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
