Ordered two lamps, both arrived with permament black marks on the brassRobertI ordered two brass uppvind lamps. Both arrived damaged - each lamp had permament black marks on the middle metal area. I can understand one lamp being defective and arriving damaged, but two? This was in the same order that an ikea hemnes tv stand arrived with misaligned parts. I have been pulling teeth with ikea's customer service (both via online chat and via the phone) to try and get a promised credit back and have so far have not received anything a month later....
Please avoid purchasing from ikea to avoid the headache I am experiencing.

Nice lamp at a fair priceRogerMy son first purchased this lamp for his condo and I helped him assemble it. We added an extra bulb by purchasing a Y socket adapter from Home Depot - adds a bit extra light.
The lamp is easy to assemble and very sturdy and stable. It appears to be made of high quality components too…definitely not flimsy like some other lamps. I was so impressed that when I recently moved, I purchased the same lamp along with the Y bulb adapter from Home Depot. I’m very happy with this lamp!
