UPPLAND ottoman KimberlyHeavy. Sturdy. Very easy to assemble. Slipcover is not long enough. You can see wooden legs. The pleats flare out at corners. Snagged first day. Not dog friendly. 3
Worst Ikea Purchase EverLoriI understand you get what you pay for, but this was ridiculous and the nonexistent customer service was the cherry on top. We took advantage of an Ikea Family free shipping offer and had this delivered, along with the slipcover (that has marks on it and did not fit.) After putting the frame together easily, we noticed that the particle board insert for the storage part had the wood support piece broken off; the screws pushed through the board and was completely detached. Plus, there were 4 screw holes in it. Clearly, someone had returned this. We decided to power on and attach the slipcover and keep it until we arranged for an exchange. The cover is skimpy, barely fitting the frame. Also, there should be velcro on all four sides of the cushion top and on this one, it is only on 3. I just called customer service, after waiting 20 minutes, I was told it is no longer available for delivery so I would have to load it in my car, drive to Ikea (toll road,) etc. In 3 words: don't buy it. 1
We miss Ektorp!SuzanneIf we could’ve gotten a replacement cover for our Ektorp ottoman, we would have. We replaced our Ektorp ottoman with this Uppland version and are disappointed. The top is super hard, we miss the handles, and the materials feel cheaper. No matter how I hang it, the bottom portion doesn’t cover enough of the legs that are unfinished wood. The only plus is that it’s easier to assemble than Ektorp. Does anyone know where I can get an Ektorp ottoman cover in Lofallet beige?2
