Reversible back cushions provide soft support for your back and two different sides to wear. Thanks to the combination of polyester fibers and cut foam the cushions will retain their shape and comfort year after year.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

12 year anniversary review AmyI’ve had my Uppland love seat for 12 years. It is still solid and comfortable. I bought it with white covers and bought dark green for a change of pace about 5 years ago, the sofa honestly still looks brand new. I’ve laundered and line-dried the covers many times. The sofa was favorite spot for our golden retriever. ❤️🌈

Not like it used to be...CarolI used to have this couch (not the love seat) for years! I loved it! I had the chair too! So comfy cozy! But after the Eaton fire took them, I needed a temp couch for our rental until we can rebuild. I thought I would just get the loveseat since I knew how comfy this series was. Well I was WRONG! I had NO idea that they redesigned it! WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT!? WHY change something that so many people loved and stood by!?!? I guess they changed it from the Ektorp series to this. Now it's stiff (pillows are hard) It doesn't fluff right. It's sits back a tad further so my feet dangle over the side now! WTH!?! AND you can't even flip over the cushions now! WHY WOULD THE REPLACE IT WITH THIS INFERIOR DESIGN!?! It's SO DISAPPOINTING! So that is my review. I'm super sad that it is no longer as comfortable and perfect as it used to be. I had no idea that it would be so different. It's a real bummer and I cannot express enough how unhappy I am because my hopes were not met.

Painfully uncomfortable and chemical smellsAmyThe chemical smell is causing headaches for everyone in the house, and the back and neck cushions are so uncomfortable that they are actually painful. My Ektorp was perfect. This feels nothing like the Ektorp. It will cost me over $200 to hire a truck to take it back to the store. I deeply regret this purchase.
Love my upland sofaJaniceI chose the white upland sofa. After shopping in all the furniture stores, I found IKEA to have the best price for similar sofas.
Big MistakeDebyI bought this loveseat 18 months ago and have never warmed up to it. When I first put it together the seat cushions were so puffed up I felt like a child sitting in a chair that was way too big for me. Now they are squished down to half their original height and are hard as a rock. I sat on this loveseat in the store and it was comfortable, like the Ektorp was. The store cushions were foam, very comfy. However, I have opened up my cushions and there is a small piece of foam with some sort of baffles under the foam which I think is making it so hard. The cover is horrible, with pulls all over. I wish they had kept the Ektorp and left everything the way it was. I'll be giving this away for free.

Picture perfectPattiThe exact look I was going for. This love seat was easy to assemble (80 y/o) and I steamed out the wrinkles and the cover fits perfectly. I do wish the seat covers were reversible, just a small issue. Trying to decide to get another loveseat or the arm chair to complete the look. Very happy with this purchase.
Terrible cushionsRosalieI purchased this loveseat a few years ago and sitting on these cushions, which are not very comfortable at all. They are sinking in and can’t fluff up and can’t flip over. I’m sorry I purchased this sofa.

Don't bother if you have pets or kidsHannahI've had this for a few months: the Uppland is rather firm, constantly wrinkled, stains easily, near impossible to keep clean, and machine washing it is quite the chore.
It isn't easy to take off and put these covers back on again (I'm 30 and able bodied btw) and they take a full 24 hours+ to dry out since they can't go in a dryer. Spot cleaning doesn't work so I'm needing to wash the covers almost every week. I've owned other white chairs and loveseats, but this fabric just really grabs on to every hair and spec of dirt. I loved it initially, so it's just a disappointment that their fabric choice was one with no stain resistance.
