Deep couchNyssaI've had a kivik couch for about 4 years but I've been wanting a deep couch for peak lounging and tv watching so I was shopping around everywhere trying to find my next couch. I'm so happy ikea came out with this. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and I love it, it's great. I haven't had any sagging on the couch cover nor have I experienced the seat cushions having to be repositioned like others mentioned but maybe that'll happen in the future?? Who knows. This couch feels like it was made for cozy movie watching. Also it is possible for 1 person with little strength to put it together, its just exhausting so don't be like me, get help.
A sofa for giantsAnonymousI really liked the looks of the UPPÅKRA series and was excited to see it in person. I was shocked to realize how deep the seat is. I'm 5'9" tall and when I sat with my back against the cushions my legs were almost straight out like a little kid sitting on a couch. Way too deep. I can't even imagine how much room this takes up with the chaise attached. Great if you have a lot of space and you are really tall! I'll have to keep searching.
Good, deep, couchBrianWe've had this for about a month and it has been nice. It is about a 3/5 on firmness, maybe even a 2.5. it has good back support when you sit, and with the extra depth, you can sink in and have good neck / head support if you have an ottoman to stretch out on. The slip covers are soft and I like that they are machine washable. The off-white color is accurate and the texture is almost like a bouclé. Everything seems sturdy. I wish they had a few more color choices, but the off-white works well. If you did have to machine wash the covers, it would be a bit of a hassle to get em off, but hopefully not something you have to do often.
