Been reading to take it to the dump
Beware of damageErinOne of the pieces came chipped in the corner causing the drawer to not close completely compared to the others. Instructions were okay but it definitely takes two people to get the job done efficiently.
Bad DesignJessicaFirst off I'm glad Ikea replaced entire packages cause a lot were broken due to wrong assembly of rails. Really disappointed in the top, back of the dresser with 4 rectangular openings instead of fully closed. Also most people don't secure to wall so why even add bracket on inside and leave 2 corner openings. Should've gone with different fully enclosed dresser alignment for 1 side of back cover also had issue.
It’s beautiful but terrible instructions MatheusVery nice dresser but instructions are not clear, very difficult to interpret and you can’t find anything online. Took me and a friend almost 4 hours to put together and we needed a lot of patience and teamwork. By far the most complicated furniture piece I’ve ever put together. IKEA please remake this manual!!!!
Falls apart during assemblyJoeReally should have read these other reviews. The parts join by sliding plastic pegs directly into the particle board, and the material just shreds immediately. Assembly was not salvageable and had to return it. It felt really cheap given the price point and knew it wouldn't last.

Way too problematicRaelaThis is by far the most complicated piece of furniture from IKEA I’ve ever put together. Many of the pieces do not fit together. The wood is not cut properly for the pieces to slide in together. Unless you want to spend two days working this dresser out to no avail I’d highly recommend not purchasing it. I’d return it if it wasn’t such a hassle to do so. Money wasted.
No worth the effortClaireNot simple to assemble. The backlog the dresser has multiple 3/4” layers making it extremely heavy. The top does not line up as it should.
Poorly fabricatedJuliaI love IKEA furniture, in part because it’s fun to put together. Sadly this was an exception to the rule. On one side of the dresser, I had to drill my own holes for the drawer slides bc IKEA provided them in the wrong location. For the drawers, I had to chip out particle board in every one of the 24 slots bc each was routed to the wrong depth. And ultimately, the last drawer didn’t land on its slide the way it should’ve and is crooked. The dresser is too big and heavy to consider returning after all this effort. A real bummer from a store I love! Will be requesting a refund.

If instructions are red carefully and cautiously, your six dresser should be exactly, or very similar to the picture and what you’ve seen in stores! The drawers are very spacious! The price for the dresser is good and reasonable. I am satisfied with my purchase.
Looks great, horrible to assembleCEasily the most difficult piece of IKEA furniture that I’ve had to put together. The particle board for the backing does not slide in easily and instructions are not as clear as other items I’ve purchased- specifically on demonstrating which holes to put the screws in for the drawer hardware. It was an all day project to get it together, largely due to pieces not easily fitting together. The final product looks awesome though and can tell it’s sturdier than other IKEA dressers Ive had. Love the blond/oak wood color as well
Terrible to assembleVanessaThis was truly a nightmare to assemble. It's heavy particle board (which was fully disclosed), but the center and side pieces slide into the top and bottom. They don't slide easily, and it is very cumbersome and challenging. It is very heavy, for better or worse.
Extremely difficult Assembly and bad manufacturingAnshuman1. The wood was chipping from most of the parts and had scratches on the outside.
2. It was extremely difficult to put it together in a clean manner and the parts are really heavy.
3. Not worth the price!!
