DesignEddyThe screw holes on the base do not lined up. I have purchased 2 units. Same problem. Since a live far away, I just have to force the screws into the holes. When doing that, I made a scratch to one of lamp. Do not understand how this would pass design and quality inspection. 3

Nice looking lampSonyaI do like this lamp a lot! But, the lamp shade is a little 'out of shape'. It comes flat in the box and doesn't quit open up properly. It still looks good, but could just look a little better if it stayed 'square'.4
Works fine but not perfect.JohnLamp shade must be assembled with a metal frame at the bottom to create the rectagular shape. There is no metal frame for top, however, so the top rectangular form is slightly askew. Not the end of the world, but it is noticeable and looks a little off. Not enough of a problem to return the item, but it would be nice if there was a metal frame for the top of the shade so it could be a perfect rectangle.3
