I am on a limited income and in the past have picky and chose cushy slippers, but needed a new pair quickly. The base is sturdy and comfortable. The top is soft and doesn't bother the tops of my feet. The only downside is the cover that's in contact with the bottom of the feet does move a little. Initially I thought it would really bother me, but I hardly notice it now. I've washed them twice already and they are looking good.4
