What light bulb do I need!?Alisoncan't find a light bulb for the smaller lamp. I took the instructions with me to Walmart light bulb section and bought what I thought was the correct size,. It wasn't. Now I don't know what do do!! Also, I spray painted dit gold and it looks awesome.
malformed shadeDavidThe lamp assembled easily except for the shades that are supposed to press fit into place. No amount of adjusting, angling, pressing, rotating, etc. allowed the upper shade to firmly attach. In the end it simply shattered. I wouldn't bother with this light which is clearly the lowest end of the floor lamp category. I also have to say that the telephone advice to get some superglue from Home Depot to try to fix the shattered shade seemed unworthy of a serious retailer.

Didn’t last too longDianaThe best part- the mini light. The switch for the bigger light broke after about a year, which I don’t even use much. I use the lamp for the mini light only.
Bulb impossible to find!RachelI ordered the lamp knowing Ikea was out of the bulbs, but it sure would have been helpful to know that the smaller lamp uses a not very common bulb that proves impossible to find. I’ve been to four stores so far, and I guess I just won’t be able to use the reading part of the lamp. I bought 3, so 2 will be returned.
looks good, but dont touch it.Lindavery loose. if you turn the lamps toward you the entire tall leg of lamp becomes loose. ALSO!!! if you are going to ship a lamp, you should have the bulbs available for delivery!!!

Cheap or inexpensive?VictorThis is the cheapest and worst-made lamp. Doesn't stand straight up (always leaning to one side). Materials are flimsy. It takes 2 different size/type of bulbs (not included) and the ikea bulbs are complete garbage. You need one LED e12 bulb for the reading lamp and one LED A19 for the top/ceiling light (must not exceed 13-watt output to reduce risk of fire hazard - that's confidence inspiring). Make sure to order the same color (warm or cool and same with the lumens (5000) so both bulbs match). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Wobbly and Misleading Website DescriptionLi-YaShowing "Complete with SOLHETTA LED bulb E12 450 lumen" is very misleading. Making buyers think the lamp only needs one kind of light bulb instead of two which is very annoying. I would not have purchased it if I knew the lamp needs two different kinds of bulbs.

Quality less through the yearsDavidWe have several of the older ones and love them. This newer model, however, has a smaller rod, the plastic white "Shades" came distorted and squished in the box... they never bounced back. I wish Ikea didn't change things. They don't come with bulbs and had none in stock.
