Frustrating build, underwhelming night stand & form factor!KannanTL;DR: Nearly 3 hours to assemble, unclear instructions, tricky hardware, and the finished piece looks like a plain box — skip it.
I spent almost three hours assembling this IKEA nightstand. The instructions are vague and there are hundreds of small fasteners; several parts can be installed backwards if you aren’t careful. Two pitfalls to watch: in step 1 the rails fit either way — orient them so the slot for inserting the wheels faces the top-front, or the wheels won’t slide in properly. Also note the screw types: white/black cam screws vs wood-colored screws — the wood-colored ones fit tightly and are very hard to remove or replace if mixed up. After all that work the result looks more like a box than a nightstand (It says it is a 2 drawer chest but is categorized under nightstands). Poor form factor, excessive assembly, not worth the effort.
Perfect side tableDianaThis is the perfect side table for my 15 your old grandsons room. It matches his dresser that also came from Ikea and his desk. He likes that he doesn’t have to use anything to sit his drink on because it doesn’t mess up the finish of the furniture. It’s durable and functional for a teens room.

Perfect size/ easy assembly TayraI’m in love with this nightstand. It has a perfect size, is neutral and was so easy to assemble it with our drill.
Drawer does not fit correctlyCourtneyWhile assembly was no issue for the main cabinet. The drawer does not fit correctly into the body of the stand. Due to the holes the alignment is off and the drawer ends up in the middle of the stand so its a gaping hole above and below the stand.
Really disappointed in this nightstand.
Not the quality I am used to from Ikea.
