worst chair everColinTried to return but IKEA could not find the receipt even though I gave them all the detail. Even after I told them I was pregnant, they said I had to go to the store. HORRIBLE customer service and HORRIBLE chair. Literally fell apart at the joists (both chairs) in the front of chair, when you sit in it a few times. I cant believe this is being sold for this much. insanity

Disappointed – Overpriced Chair with Average Design and MaterialsVarunI recently purchased two STOCKHOLM 2025 chairs and unfortunately, I’m very disappointed. At $349 each, I expected a high-end accent chair—but these fall far short.
The materials used are underwhelming. The wood feels like engineered veneer rather than solid birch, and the fabric is basic at best—not something you'd expect at this price point. The chair looks average and lacks the premium feel or finish that IKEA's description suggests.
Design-wise, it’s oddly wide for an accent chair at 28”, which makes it impractical for smaller spaces. Despite the claims of Scandinavian elegance, the aesthetic feels bulky and uninspired.
For the cost, I was expecting both visual appeal and comfort, but this chair delivers neither. It’s a poor value overall, and I’ll be returning them.
They look great, but...MichaelUnfortunately these are perhaps the most uncomfortable chair I have ever sat in. Both my friend and felt the same way about them and she is 5'3" and I am 6'2". I tried using pillows but to no avail. I tried sitting up straight but you can't lean back without putting a strain on your lower back, and you can't slouch because there is no support for your head. Maybe they'll fit your body or your find a comfortable pillow combination, but I'd really check them out in the store first. They really are fantastic looking and were easy to assemble.
