SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.
Light, airy design with high legs and slim lines, yet still a great comfort thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.
The sofa's sections can be used freestanding or combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you and your home.
If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two to your existing combination.

Quality and fabric issuesMicheleSometime during early September, the price of the corner unit+ single unit Soderhamn I bought went from 669 to 819 dollars. I decided to buy it anyway, in the Viarp beige-brown. The fabric I received was much different than the one on the units in the store. It was a greyish white color, and not as soft. The content was missing a clamp, as well as some cushion inserts. The one-seat unit was clearly less padded than the corner unit. I returned the couch one day after I picked it up, and am mystified by the low quality. Signed, an avid Ikea-lover.
Bad chemical smellBillPretty easy to put together and generally like it but all parts have been treated with strong chemicals that take approx 1 month + to dissipate.. still hanging around some. I left all parts of sofa on my back porch for over a month. The smell reduced but is still there. Wish I had known before. Would not have purchased.
Quality not worth the amount.RobertI've had the sectional and love seat in my living room for a year now and I'm disappointed in this more and more everyday with them. The quality doesn't show with crooked and botched stitching, the cushions are now flat and have also shrunken leaving the hard base exposed in-between the cushions. The both pieces i have began to sag in the middle and the seat cushions that are zippered into the base pull outward overtime making you have to adjust ALL the cushions everytime you sit down and get up. Save your money on this
Perfect for our needsMichelleLow, wide, and comfortable for everyone who lives here or visits. Perfect for our elderly the dog to easily jump up and find her cozy spot. Decorate with a few more pillows and blankets and your all set.
Great design but uncomfortable.SandeepI saw it in the store and sat on it. I found that it’s too low seems like you are sitting on ground and folding your legs. Their legs could be bit high customisable. Their foam pads could be double thick then it could make that perfect height to sit comfortably. Design and look is superb. There used to be a midcentuary modern greyish blue colour that could be great with soft cloth material rather this all blue colour which doesn’t look good.
