Sliding frameDonaldThis door looked really great at the store! However, it’s very complicated and time consuming to install. Exacting measurements must be taken several times, cuts must be spot on and adjustments to the existing walls must be almost perfect. This two door installation took almost 3 hours from start to finish. Doors do look great once installed. I would not recommend this product if you are not a well qualified DIY person and have all the necessary equipment and knowledge to take this on.
Well made but sizing it right is a must!DavidBought 4 of these closet door panels for our bedroom closet. Took & provided the requested width & height measurements of the closet door opening and ordered them at the IKEA store. Received all items on time in good secure packaging and began the assembly & install. Come to find out that the doors are about 2+ inches longer than expected so now the doors won't fit into the closet rail system?....I do not know what else I could have done that was not included into the provided instruction manual. I have to now figure out a way to cut the metal closet side rails to makes this work via fix it YouTube videos of people experiencing the same issue with these SKYTTA doors. Doors are very nice & sturdy but if they don't fit, what is the point?
I love my new wardrobe doors!SallyI was building a new ADU, and fell in love with the three panel, triple track mirrored Skytta. I had my door framing built for an exact fit to Skytta dimensions to make installing it much easier. . I was very disappointed, though, that IKEA did not provide access to a service for assembly. Slytta is explicitly excluded from the products that Task Rabbit will assemble. I was on my own to find someone who could assemble it for me. Purchasers should be aware of this because it was challenging to find someone. Other than that, 5 stars!
