SKADIS TOOLSRhondaI LOVE THIS BOARD! IT HELPS ME KEEP MY DESK CLEAN BUT HAVE ALL MY TOOLS CLOSE AT HAND. STOCK WAS HARD TO FIND BUT ITS WELL WORTH IT5
goodTamisaThese are just fine. They worlk as expected, but color choices would be nice.4
It HooksKatieIt hooks and it holds!5
Works well enough for me.JasonI grabbed one of these to hold some kind of tool turns out my wiss shears fit like a charm. One criticism is that these attachments could use some kind of more positive method of locking to the board.5
Works like it shouldJenniferUsed in my basement for holding tools5
SkAdisKaty B.I love the idea, I would have liked the circle to be just a quarter of N inch bigger, but this works.5
Board HangersRAEThis is my second purchase of these. They work extremely well. Hold even my heavy cutting shears. Please make them in white as I have the white backboard.5
Mark1marcyGreat product would buy again5
DisappointedAunt TikiI thought this could be use with regular peg boards but your system is different. Will be returning. Sorry.1
bberryKeeps my scissors and hole punch within reach.5
Clean Look, Inconsistent ReliabilityandverygingerI have pegboards manufactured by another company all over my sewing room. They, however, do not offer the same ability to clamp onto the top of a desk, so when I needed to do so, I opted to give a set of the Skadis boards a try. The boards themselves are fine, as are *most* of the accessories. All feel very solid, well-finished, and constructed of good materials. These holders, however, do not snap in securely in the same way as my other pegboards. The result is that, while they hold my larger paper and fabric scissors quite well, if I don't remove them just so, the hook slips off the board. I have not attempted to find a temporary adhesive solution as yet, but I believe that day is coming, as soon as my configuration is a bit more settled.3
doesn"t fit on Skadis board!DForzAs someone else previously noted - doesn't fit. I tried on the two boards I have at home, exerting quite a bit of pressure - just won't fit. Odd. All other parts have worked so far, just not these. I'll return, but that's a lot of effort for a $1.00 component. I'm reluctant to purchase more (to see if they work).1
Hard to go wrong with something so simpleCarlzTI used this in many ways from holding tools on my peg board at work to holding very long paint brushes (standing up within a tray) at home.5
quality control issueNStilesI bought this yesterday, hung up my Skadis, and it will not fit in the holes. I hate to make a 30m trip to Ikea to replace it, and I'll test it out on the Skadis on the floor next trip.1
Does not fit conventional peg boardsAnno58I bought one holder to see if they would work with a non-Ikea peg board. They don't! They look perfectly servicable if the oval shaped pegboard holes on the Ikea model work for you.3
Not Perfect For ScissorsmythirdnicknameI bought these for my art studio SKÅDIS system, to store scissors. The scissor blades slip through the opening in the loop making it impossible to remove scissors with one grab. These would be great for tools like screwdrivers, though.3
Great for hand spindles!insight spinnerI bought these to use for jewelrymaking and regular tools, but once I added them to the board, i realized they are perfect for hand spindles for spinning wool. I have a ton of those. I'm going to get a bunch more to display all of my spindles! great for screwdrivers, awls, files and other small hand tools, too.5
You can combine SKÅDIS storage series any way you like. And if you change your mind, it’s easy to change the accessories and create a new solution. Choose if you want to attach it to a desktop, to a shelf or hang it on the wall.
What is steel?
Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
