    Leaf defect table fantasticJohnWhen I received it, it was perfect. Heavyweight table is gorgeous. Works beautifully for the area that I’m in as a four chair table. You couldn’t get any better. The weak part is in the leaf when you pull it open the leaf has two pivot brackets on the bottom and on the top and to keep them from bouncing around in shipment, they have two round dolls, the round dowels fall out in shipment and allows the insert to bounce up and down, pulling the screws out of the wood. I like it so well that I solved the problem with the reinforcement.3
    Good quality productJosephOverall, the table is well built and easy to assemble. But the delivery initially had a defect in the table leaf that wasn't noticed until after the table was assembled. Unfortunately, IKEA was not able to replace the leaf separately. So, the table had to be disassembled and returned for a full replacement! Be sure to check all parts before you assemble.5
