NoMaryThis, unfortunately, is one of the worst purchases I’ve made. I bought this less than a year ago, and it’s currently in my basement until I can go to the dump with it. It would not stay together, drawers never went in as they should, pieces broke and then were ALWAYS unavailable to order, I’m sure because everyone’s broke. Just sucks I spent money on it, now I have to spend more to buy a new one and dispose of this one!!1
Very disappointingKateriThis is not at the usual Ikea standard. Parts did not fit properly together. The cam locks specifically for the horizontal supports did not even fit properly - I had to reverse the screw 3/4 turn so that the cam lock could actually catch and lock. The guide holes for the cam screws on the drawers were not all straight, making it a bit of a challenge to get them together. Plus side is it's unfinished so you can easily stain or paint it to whatever color you choose. But I can't recommend it because it just feels poorly constructed.2
DO NOT BUYJoeyThis is the singular worst piece of furniture I’ve ever owned and you will hate it. It is “held together” by unsecured screw locks that actually do not lock and the walls and bottoms of the shelf come apart when you open them. It is flimsy, smaller than you expect, extremely difficult to make work, and I wish I never bought it. It was a waste of my money and gives me a headache every single day when I’m getting dressed. I honestly want a refund, it’s so awful.1

Probably should be one starJessicaI have built a lot of Ikea furniture and it usually goes smoothly. Things were not seeming perfectly aligned to begin with. I broke a wood piece midway through. The drawer slides are terrible and pretty much made it unusable from day one. The few times I have pulled the drawers in and out, I started to crack the slides so I now have one that won't budges and I think 2 other sections where it has cracked off completely. I am going to try to purchase actual metal drawer slides but not at all sure if thy will fit in this product.2

Worst purchase in yearsDeniseThey should have paid me to take these. We bought two small and two of these. The knots in the pine made it split from just screwing it in. I’ve been mad since I got them. Last week the cheap plastic runner broke on the drawer. It had SOCKS in it. Bad bad bad!1
Completely non-functional from day oneLeviI had to drill my own holes in some parts and use wood glue in others just to get this thing together. The drawers literally fall off track every time I open them. All of my furniture is from IKEA and this product does not match their usual standards. It's not worth my time to take this apart and drag it back to the store, so I'm just using it as a table. It took forever to put together, too. Very very disappointing.1
Pieces didn’t match up, falling apart after 2 monthsDaphneI bought my dresser in person so I didn’t get a chance to read the reviews and i wish i did. It took forever to build and not all of the pieces lined up, some of the hardware just simply wasn’t the correct size. Now after about 2 months, the bottom supports of the dresser have fallen apart and i can’t reattach them. The drawers barely opened to start with and now I can’t open them at all or close them. I wish I could return this but I unfortunately lost my receipt 1
Plastic drawer slides brokenAnonymous reviewerAs many reviewers have also reported, the plastic drawer slides broke after just a few months of use. I've ordered replacement parts because I don't want to treat the dresser as disposable, but it will be a project to figure out a way to install them so they don't immediately break again. Do not recommend.1

Broke way too quicklyCatherineIn general we love Ikea stuff, we have tons of dressers and cabinets from them, but this one was just so cheap, it broke after about 18 months of very normal use.1
Cheap for a reason!Haleyjust echoing what other reviews had said. Should have read them before purchasing. Seriously don’t waste your time and money. Building it was a nightmare because it kept splintering, and it only lasted about 4 months before the plastic drawer tracks completely broke.1
Solid and easy to put togetherHeatherI purchased 4 of these and they are solid and easy to put together. My only issue is 1 of the 4 most of the holes didn't get drilled. Also I wish there was a few spare parts because 2 of the cam locks broke and im trying to find replacements. But overall nice furniture.4

Whoever designed this dresser should change careers.MichaelGenuinely impossibly stupid design. I assembled several other pieces of Ikea furniture right before this one and was pleased with how simple yet elegant the designs were. This was the complete opposite. Contained a massive number of nails, screws, and assorted screw in parts. Said screws were generally a complete mess, as whoever designed the assembly method of this seemed to be under the impression the wood would be precision machined (its not) and thus the tiny differences in lengths or positions of holes tend to result in about 1/3 of the screws being genuinely unusable because the things its meant to screw through don't even line up. Genuinely shameful that Ikea is even selling this garbage. The body of the dresser was under so much tension when assembled that despite taking my time and using a handheld screwdriver, when I screwed in the last screw one of the boards cracked in half.1
Bad Product - Breaks oftenJesseThe metal screws were super weak and stripped very easily. Barely got the thing together. Upon using the dresser, every month or so one of the plastic guard rails breaks where the screw goes through and I have to patch job it back together. 3 drawer slots have broken now and cannot be reattached given the broken plastic rails. Wish the plastic was more durable given you are using metal screws with it1
AwfulJessicaDo not purchase this. Ridiculously difficult to assemble and the pieces are so fragile that sever screws snapped while building it. It has been in use for barely a handful of months and is breaking. Save your money.1

At IKEA, we want to create a better everyday life for the many people – and a safer life is a better life. That’s why we constantly work to develop innovative stability solutions.

Furniture tipping over is one of the home furnishing industry's most serious safety issues and we’ll never stop working on innovative stability solutions for our storage furniture. A tip-over accident can happen when you least expect it. It could be someone using a drawer as support to stand up or children climbing to reach something on top. But no one can predict all the scenarios that everyday living at home can create. That’s why the best way to avoid tipping accidents is to always anchor the furniture to the wall. But we also offer new stability solutions that help make our storage furniture safer. One example is our stability feature Anchor and Unlock. "It means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to a wall to be able to open more than one drawer at a time, which reduces the risk of tipping, but doesn’t entirely remove it. By anchoring the chest of drawers to the wall, you unlock the drawers and can open them all at once," says Björn Andreasson from the development team. Another way we increase stability is to integrate it into the design. "With GREÅKER cabinet with drawers, for example, we´ve developed hinges that stop the doors at a 115-degree angle and keep them there to reduce the risk of tipping," says product developer Dagmara Pawlus. IKEA of course meets all safety requirements in our markets, but we don’t just settle for this. We often set higher demands than what legislation requires to help people enjoy a better everyday life – in a safer home.
