DisappointedWaverlyI purchased this in February 2026 and a month and a half later, almost all of the dresser tracks (plastic) broke apart. Even with being as gentle as possible, they are cracked. There are no replacement parts available and I have a practically brand new dresser that is completely non-functional.1
Falls Apart EasilyChandraWe like the dressers and have them lined up as a sideboard. We get a lot of compliments on it. Unfortunately the bottom of the drawers fall out repeatedly and the fronts fall off. We've never had this issue before with ikea, so it's a bit strange. We read many reviews regarding the drawer slides. They work fine for us. We're not cramming drawers full or anything like that. The slides are fine if you're not a rough person. But the drawer boxes falling apart is a bummer. We get a good laugh though 😂 we're looking into reinforcing them somehow.2
hardware hardly hardEmilywe bought 3 of these dressers for the kids. the drawer slides are plastic and many of them have broken. Don't bother with this unless you like throwing new things away.1
InstructionsElizabethThe product is good, but the instructions are very bad. The parts should be labeled with numbers or letters. I messed up in the beginning but found a video in YouTube.3
flumzy and not a good dresserFarhadDon't waste your money on this. Its flumzy and the drawer falls apart. We are very disappointed in this and we bought two of them for our kids1
Poor qualityDesireeI’ve never bought something from IKEA that was of this low quality. The sliding mechanism for the drawers are plastic. I split a brace trying to secure it to the side because some holes didn’t line up. I checked at least four times making sure I didn’t put it together incorrectly. The wood isn’t sanded so if you want to paint it, that’s an extra step. Not worth the hassle. Just spend some extra money to buy something nicer. The solid wood was what I wanted and I thought I was going to save some money by purchasing something unfinished that I could paint myself. I regret this purchase.1
Instructions JadenVery nice dresser , very dumb and confusing instructions 3
Pieces don't fit right, keeps falling apartThedaArrived with warped boards that wouldn't fit together properly. Rods were nearly impossible to fit into the holes during assembly. The assembled dresser keeps falling apart, and the drawers won't stay in their tracks. Waste of money. The one good thing is that it has a decent amount of room for storage without taking up too much space, but that doesn't matter much when the dresser is unusable.2
Fine.MollyThis is a fine product. It was hard to build, the left side board was crooked. I thought I fixed it because it was able to come together but now the drawers are completely falling apart and will not stay on their tracks. All the screw holes are stripped and cannot be fixed. The base board is completely splitting and the screws from the side board are not even connecting to the base anymore. Drawers are falling on top of each other and will not open without wiggling and force.2
Multiple issues in need of improvement. TaylorIt’s a really nice dresser. The putting together was very frustrating. I had to redrill all of the knobs because the dresser handles wouldn’t screw on all the way. Which was an issue with other parts of the dresser as well. Some things didn’t line up correctly. Like I said nice dresser. Just wish the assembly would have been easier. 3
Drawer slider brokeCecileI love the drawer perfect for my sons room. But the problem is the drawer slider broke and I’m too past for the 180 days return. I hope there’s available slider part that I can buy in ikea store. 3
horrible!Nicolei want to cry, this is the worst purchase i’ve made. it’s flimsy, the wood splits when you’re screwing everything in… and it’s so tiny. that part is my fault i only checked the length but im literally just gonna junk this and be out the money.1
Beautiful dresserSaraEasy to put together and amazing quality!5
AwfulLauraAwful quality. Had high hopes. Would not recommend.1
Terrible piece and wouldn’t buy ever againJessicaI bought this for my son’s room. I stained it and bought updated knobs. It’s completely falling apart. The rails are detaching from the wood and the front faces don’t go on easily or feel secure. This was an absolute waste and I’m not even sure why IKEA sells this product. It’s a great size for a child’s room but save yourself the money.1
TerribleSeedikaThis didn't last a year1
Horrendous Quality ControlIsaiahPurchased one and quality was good, so we got another. Horrendous quality control, wood breaking at connector, screws not locking properly. Just a gamble, do not recommend. 2
This item has odor like chemicalsMahmoudWe have to take out of the room, because of the chemicals odor. I don't know of it is dagerous for health1
niceAkiragood size dresser5
As a regular IKEA customer, do not buyGraceI am a regular IKEA customer and regularly shop at the store. This is the only product I’ve ever fully had an issue with. I wanted to give this dresser a shot, I couldn’t even build it successfully with tools. One of my buddies also got one, had a similar issue. Just go ahead and spend the extra money on something worth it rather than this.1

IKEA takes the lead to reduce the risk of tipping

At IKEA, we want to create a better everyday life for the many people – and a safer life is a better life. That’s why we constantly work to develop innovative stability solutions.

Furniture tipping over is one of the home furnishing industry's most serious safety issues and we’ll never stop working on innovative stability solutions for our storage furniture. A tip-over accident can happen when you least expect it. It could be someone using a drawer as support to stand up or children climbing to reach something on top. But no one can predict all the scenarios that everyday living at home can create. That’s why the best way to avoid tipping accidents is to always anchor the furniture to the wall. But we also offer new stability solutions that help make our storage furniture safer. One example is our stability feature Anchor and Unlock. "It means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to a wall to be able to open more than one drawer at a time, which reduces the risk of tipping, but doesn’t entirely remove it. By anchoring the chest of drawers to the wall, you unlock the drawers and can open them all at once," says Björn Andreasson from the development team. Another way we increase stability is to integrate it into the design. "With GREÅKER cabinet with drawers, for example, we´ve developed hinges that stop the doors at a 115-degree angle and keep them there to reduce the risk of tipping," says product developer Dagmara Pawlus. IKEA of course meets all safety requirements in our markets, but we don’t just settle for this. We often set higher demands than what legislation requires to help people enjoy a better everyday life – in a safer home.
