Love it!AlishaI put two of these together, by myself (a 50yr old woman). Ya’ll, the lifesaver is a rubber mallet. Helps to get the click-in sections in place without causing damage. I’m sure I would’ve struggled without it. I placed two side-by-side and they look lovely!
came with a part damaged :-( Alondralooks good and all, but a piece of the back panels came chipped on an end. Its not noticable since it is in the back and will be placed against a wall, but it kinda sucks that I cant see an option for partial refund on the app. I don't want to drive all the way to my nearest Ikea to exchange especially since its not a really big problem. Yeh

Cheap MaterialJosefresh out of the box the dresser had scratches on it, I do not have a car so thought I should continue with the build because it would likely cost more for me to return or exchange. as we're building, more pieces continues to break off. you breathe on the "wood" and its crumbling off. this is not worth the price at all. also there are no real screws used. everything is "held together" by plastic. as you fix one side, the other side comes apart because its not held together sufficiently. I will be requesting a refund. this is awful.

Difficult and Not Well ConnectedMeganI have assembled many IKEA products over the years, and this is by far the most frustrating one. I started building it at 9:30 a.m., and by 4:00 p.m. I still hadn’t even started assembling the drawers.
The new slide-and-click assembly system is poorly designed. Several pieces never seated correctly, and when I flipped the dresser over as instructed, one corner came apart because the connection wasn’t secure. The plastic locking system and the particle board don’t reinforce each other well, leaving my dresser with a visible gap.
To make matters worse, the boards weren’t labeled as they have in the past, and the instructions were confusing and unclear compared to previous IKEA furniture I’ve built. This took far longer than it should have and left me with a product that doesn’t fit together properly. After years of buying IKEA furniture, this experience has convinced me not to purchase another one.
avoid at all costsEdwini have purchased quite a few ikea pieces over the years and have always had a fairly easy time assembling their furniture considering they make it an easy process. However, this piece was quite the headache. I would never recommend this product. Like others have stated, the instructions are not helpful as the pieces are not labeled and pieces look similar to one another; also like some have mentioned, there’s this bottom piece that has to slide into place with 6 other pegs and this was the most frustrating part of all. you have to place a book or something under the piece of furniture to lift it a bit to then slide the bottom piece but ??? why. i have never had to do that with ikea furniture in the past. In the end, this dresser now has some scuffs and is not looking pristine since the process of putting it together was too difficult. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Hard to assembleAlaireThe floor model was nice and looked well put together. I started to assemble the dresser and it was going smoothly until I got to the point in the Ikea assemble process where things start to fall apart. The drawer panels were very hard to click in place so use a mallet. Once the drawers were all finished, they did not sit properly in the dresser showing gaps and they were all uneven. It looks horrible.
Beautiful, but needs to be aired outErinThe formaldehyde smell of the particle board takes a while to air out. It has been two days with windows open and cross breezes, yet I can still smell it and have a headache. Nice look, but delicate not durable materials. Many fasteners and joints are plastic. Looks good at home, but doubt it’ll last a move.

Disappointed SymcheUnfortunately this did not meet my expectations. I was very excited to buy this dresser (i bought 2) for my bedroom makeover. The instructions were not clear and it took a while to put them together. During the process some of the pieces broke, not as sturdy as i was expecting. I returned both.
Gorgeous Dresser With Terrible InstructionsDavinThis dresser is spectacular once put to together. Don't get me wrong, I love building furniture, and I love purchasing from IKEA for that exact reason. However, these were the worst instructions I have ever experienced from IKEA. Almost no parts are labeled, so you're left staring at near-identical pieces trying to compare which one is on the diagram. Assembly also uses a sliding pin method that is extremely difficult to do on the larger pieces. Again, excellent piece of furniture, but extremely disappointed in IKEA as this was the most frustrating building experience I have ever encountered.

Solid Dresser. Easy AssemblyEdwardThis dresser is one of the more solid options I've found at Ikea. I was skeptical coming from solid wood dressers like the Hemnes, but this was fine. My only nitpick is I wish it came with a real wood veneer and soft closing drawers, but for the price and the small touches it's solid. I'm not sure about the smell that people are talking about on here and assembly was pretty easy. The 'click' in panels are really easy to work with. Just be sure to pay attention to the direction of the drawer sliders.
Overall, solid dresser for the price considering the styling. Just wish there was a more high quality option available, but the walnut effect looks good and seems like it might be durable over time.
Solid dresser, assembly requires a PhDJaredLove this dresser, very solid, looks good. But this is not a one shot assembly..things aren’t labeled, the instructions aren’t exactly clear. This was like slaying a dragon. For some reason, the drawer insides are blue (?) even though my 3 box was labeled as oak. Regardless, solid design, looks good, just know this won’t be an easy job.
Smells terrible!!!ErinI've never experienced furniture that has smelled this bad (well at least not since the 90s). My husband and I unboxed it 5 days ago and have the pieces spread across a room with fans blowing on it and an air filter running next to it and it's still off gassing like crazy. Not sure what to do because we love the piece, but can't set it up as there is no way to put clothing in it. ChatGPT said it can take up to a month but we really can't keep this up. Very disappointed. The other item we bought in the series smells bad, but nothing like this.
Worst assembly everTinaI am 60 years old and extremely handy and I actually love assembling furniture. I have assembled tons of IKEA furniture over the years and this piece was by far the worst experience. Pieces are not labeled, instructions were lacking. You're supposed to click the heavy bottom piece into place yet you cannot see two of the holes to line it up correctly. The hardware is no longer metal and now plastic. Just a very obvious reduction in quality of what I expect from IKEA. The dresser is nice and functional once built, but somehow I scratched it during construction even though I was on carpeting so probably not a piece that will withstand the test of time. Disappointing.
Absolutely not worth $300ChrisI understand Ikea furniture can be a chore to build, but this was an absolute pain. We bought this for our nursery and are going to be unable to use this long term since the drawers just fall out and they'll crush our daughter. Plus, the drawer railings are too high and they dont sit flush with the front of the dresser. I normally like Ikea but they really dropped the ball on quality control with this dresser. You could get a higher quality piece from Amazon for less.
