PRODUKT Milk Frother, impossible fit on batteries, works well once batteries inJamesOK, so the hard part is getting in 2 AA batteries. There is no diagram on the product or package that I could find. There are instructions on YouTube. Basically, the lower AA battery must go in negative (-) side down, and the upper AA battery must go in positive (+) side down. Only THEN can you successfully close the battery compartment lid.
Once the batteries are in, it works well. I use it to blend MCT oil into my morning coffee. Next I'll try single-serving whipped cream.
My wife bought two of them for me. One had an issue where the spring coil had come off the rail. I was able to press it back on and it seems to be staying on.3

As others have said, once you figure out what kind of batteries it takes, good luck getting them in. You cannot close the battery cover once the batteries are in. How did no one test this during production??? This is worse than the measuring spoons that all had the wrong sizes on them. You get what you pay for couldn't be more true.1

Horrible battery compartmentSabrinaEchoing another review here, but the battery insertion process is a nightmare. The way the cover slides open made it nearly impossible to fit the batteries in, and once they were in, the cover would not close. I'm not sure if the cover needs to be fully in place for the product to operate, but I never got it to turn on. I thought I also maybe put the batteries in the wrong way, but in trying to get them out, the cover snapped off completely. 1

Horrible Battery Compartment DesignKerryFirst of all no where on the unit does it say what type of battery is needed (let me save you some time... it's AA). Clearly the person who invented the battery compartment never actually installed them. The cover comes off, you cant get it back in, especially after the batteries are in place, but you can't slip the batteries in with the lid on. If I ever figure out how to get the batteries in and the lid closed, I'll only use this until the batteries die because it will go in the trash... No way I'm spending this much time on a $2 gadget manipulating the batteries and the cover each time batteries are needed. Even youtubed...not at all helpful. The fact that people even created videos on how to install batteries on this thing should tell you something!!!1

waste of moneyAlanaIt is a weak frother. Batteries barely fit in during initial installation. Batteries are impossible to remove now that they've died. I have to break the frother to remove the batteries.
I would throw it away, but the rechargeable batteries were expensive.
