quality controlOlserious quality problem, holes not perfectly aligned, as a result ,screws strip very easy. Veneer looks rough. Not Ikea quality.
Good Chair, not SUPER comfy for prolong hours thoughKThis is my 2nd Poang, the first broke during a move. I like this chair a lot, however the design doesn't agree with my back. I'm 6"2 and need to use a small lower-back support pillow to sit in this chair comfortably for more than an hour. But that's me personally. I went with the birch color which is nice but there is a noticeable "click" noise if I rock slightly. It's coming from the frame itself, and no loosening or tightening of screws nor removal of the plastic stoppers has fixed this. It's still a solid frame though, I just got a faulty one. I'll also point out that my friend has 2 and they don't "click" like mine does. If IKEA was in the same state as me/ not 4 hours away I probably would return it. But it's not a major issue in my life lol. I would absolutely purchase another Poang in the future- in fact, I'm planning on buying another one of these frames with the white leather cushion. Assembly was also easy.
Broke within 2 years.EdwardUnbelievable! I only weight 160 pounds and am gentle with all furniture, yet the left arm rest screw pulled out and I fell to the floor. I'm glad I'm not hurt, but that was out of The Three Stooges! I will return it for a free one.

POANG BIRCH CHAIRCindyPoang chair is the most comfortable chair I’ve ever sat on! Has a wonderful rocking/bounce to it because of its excellent design. Perfect on back, neck, arms & legs! Came with a nice seat & back cushion that made it even more comfortable! Very relaxing! Could sleep actually live in it!!

Remove, wash - and renew!
Removable, washable covers make it easy for you to keep your sofa or armchair clean and looking good. If an accident should occur, all you have to do is remove the cover and wash it.
