The only changes I wish for are: 1. a natural darker wood color option, and 2. all solid wood construction instead of layer-glued wood veneer and plywood.
So uncomfortable to sit in - had to return itRonWhat a disappointment. This chair looks so good, but the back is getting extremely uncomfortable after a few minutes. It's a mystery to me why the designer did not include a cushion for the back. I did search the IKEA selection of cushions, but none goes well with this chair, so had to return it.
I think that the designer should be punished by being forced to sit in this chair for an hour a day. That should teach him the lesson that people eventually need to use the products, no matter how stylish they look!

Customer service says that Ikea does not sell the cushions. A total waste of the money that I spent to buy it and have it assembled.

Needs more seat cover optionsAnonymous reviewerWe got 2 of these chairs because the ones we really wanted (Ekenaset) weren't in stock. They were very easy to put together. The seat is quite low and could be a problem for taller people, but they work for us. We also bought some large feather pillows for the backs. Unfortunately the seat cushion only comes in GRAY?? which doesn't go with anything in our room. We would've preferred a neutral beige or black so I deducted 1 star.
Inconsistent paint...BertaThis chair is simple to assemble and is quite comfy. I'm disappointed that the paint is not consistent on all pieces. This is quite noticeable as the back half of the seat is paler than the front half, as if it didn't receive a second coat, and this is quite noticeable.
