WARNING; Wood splitting apart!JudyWarning! 8 months later the wood is splitting apart. Ikea will not replace. No warranty. Not in the sun and no heavy weight placed on the bench.

Nice and Sturdy!Sharonwe use this as a little “collect-all” spot in the entry-way. We keep one of IKEA’s long gray trays under it to hold muddy shoes when we need to, or we can put the shoes right inside this. Dog leashes and poop bags and purses go in it too. It feels rock-solid to me, as we can stand on it to reach higher things. It’s lightweight, and can be picked up using the little hole-handle with no problem at all. Love this thing!

sturdy, good quality, multipurposeKodifairly simple to assemble. good quality, it's lightweight and sturdy. we've had it for about a year and it has held up well to frequent use as a bench, step stool, storage vessel, and an unintended cat scratch post. the cutout in the top makes it very easy to move.
ours has been dubbed "the shoe bench." it lives by the front door so we can sit down to put on/take off shoes that are stored in the cubby underneath. it fits around 5 pairs of shoes, perhaps more if they're smaller or stacked efficiently.

GREAT PIECE OF FURNITURE!JazmineThis is by far my favorite piece of furniture I've ever bought from ikea. It was tricky for my friend and I to put together at first, but once we figured it out we got it done fairly quickly.
This has so many possibilities! I used it as an entry bench to set my bags when I come in. I was so worried at first that it would be bulky for my studio apartment but its perfect! When I have friends over, I used it for extra seating. I can't wait to paint it! I'm also thinking of buying maybe two more purely because of it's functionality and size.
Its' sturdy, the hole on the top works as a handle for easy carry so you can move it around. I really love this bench!
