It’s use’s two LED lamps that are sold separately that gives 50 watts of light from each lamp at around 7.5 watts of power.5

Great lamp, but has mounting issues.EricI bought two of these and overall they are very well-made and quite a bargain, and the mechanism that latches the lamps to their mounting plates is quite good. However, no mounting hardware whatsoever was provided for attaching the mounting plate to the wall! Worse, the back of the mounting-plate holes have no recessed area around them, meaning that if you plan to use plastic wall anchors (which have a small lip that rests just outside the surface of the wall) then the lamp will sit very slightly away from the wall and will wobble. I had to grind a recessed area around each hole using a dremel tool with a diamond-coated bit, after which I was able to complete the installation. By the time I'd hunted around for compatible mounting hardware and then made the necessary modifications to the mounting plates, I didn't feel that I'd really gotten a good deal because of how much time Ikea's oversights ended up costing me.3

We found it was too difficult to hide so we opted to put them in our bedroom. This unit would do better to have the switch integrated on the fixture itself.3

Great Light Output for the SizeAllisonWe put this on the plug that is on the switch to our daughters room to this light. We needed something small above all the things you need with a baby. The bottom light illuminates all that is on the shelf and the other floods the room with enough light to see that pacifier she can’t find in her bed. Not so bright it’s hard to adjust your eyes to after it being dark in the room. It’s the perfect amount of light.5
Great Modern Wall Lamp, Affordable PriceVerified BuyerI searched high and low for some affordable plug-in wall lamps with a modern design and up/down lighting. The only downside is the weird bulbs. Any lamp sold in the North American market should use screw in LED bulbs. The LED GU10s are more costly, trickier to install, harder to find and less variety to choose from. It’s still a great lamp though and the bulbs shouldn’t stop you from buying it. Also, this product appeared on the website in winter ‘18 but remained frustratingly unavailable at either of my local IKEA stores for 5 long months even though stores in other states had pleanty available the whole time. And of course by the time it finally did arrive the price had gone up. This wouldn’t have been so frustrating if it could’ve been purchased online or even special ordered at the store, but nooooo, of course not.4
