The cover doesn’t need to be removed when you change the function from sofa to bed, and back again.
Made of a soft dope-dyed polyester fabric with a slight texture and a two-toned mélange effect.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5-6 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Awkward to put on, lumpy and thinXeniaI’ve had the Nyhamn futon forever. The Knisa cover it came with takes about two minutes flat to put on and fits perfectly. Another cover should be an easy win.
The Skartofta cover comes with a manual with SIXTEEN steps. I wish I was kidding. You have to take the mattress apart and flip over parts no less than four times, then somehow realign the parts that are now awkwardly stuffed into the two separate covers and zip them back up. The whole time, the 5-foot Velcro closures are sticking to everything but the right spot on each other.
Once it’s on, the cover is thin and sad-looking, and the futon looks lumpy and weird in it. I didn’t think something as basic as a futon cover could annoy me this much. Buy the Knisa cover, even if it’s not the color you want. It’s way nicer, easier to use, and comfier.

The cover did not provide a snug fit for my sleeper sofa as expected, which made it look loose and unfinished. Due to the poor fit, I decided to return the item.
Returning and do not recommendAmandaTerrible and overpriced. In bed mode, the Velcro creates a lump that makes the bed less comfortable. The worst product I've ever purchased from Ikea.
