Surprisingly easy to assemble!Norma DClever and ingenious! And attractive!
Nice looking basket, deformed topAustinThis is a really nice looking basket but the top is deformed and won’t shut flat
Bits and PiecesLynnDuring busy tax season I needed a new laundry basket. I love the natural willow, despite the $80 price tag. Bought online with store pickup, and was shocked to receive a bunch of pieces tied with a string. Tax season loomed, clients with deadlines, no time to DIY, and when I got around to DIY I was floored: no hardware, no instructions, no nada. Shall I just trash this thing?
Listen to the reviews!MauraDifficult to put together, as the screws do not go in the holes all the way even with excessive hammering (I know you don't use a hammer for screws). For a cheap laundry basked it will get the job done, but I wish they would take the customer feedback on this product and improve it.
FineAbbyThese screws were not easy to put in, and one thing I’ve learned is that IKEA screws strip very easily, even with just a screw driver. I eventually tried to use a drill and even then I couldn’t get them in all the way. But overall the hamper is fine and does the job.
Linen NightmareCaitlinThe case came as expected and was very easy to put together. The linen got twisted and now I cannot for the life of me get it to correctly line the hamper. I believe the main confusion stems from the extra section built into the linen to hold the hardware. That section makes it impossible for me to tell if it's in the correct direction
Hamper not greatDavidDoes the job but the lining inside is just terrible to deal with
Can't put liner inZoeThere need to be better instructions to put the liner in, because the liner that came with my hamper doesn't seem to fold out into the shape shown in the instructions, so it's impossible to put it in the hamper. Either that or the liner wasn't made correctly.
Functional and niceLisaI've this for a couple of years and had no issues with it. It's functional and looks nice.
Bad Quality, Bad OmenJaneAfter buying two Ikea wicker hampers in the past (still using them) and being very satisfied, I purchased this basket online. I was shocked at the difference in quality--this is so flimsy and cheaply made, not worth the price. And there was some damage to the top part. I have already arranged to return. Is Ikea going downhill on quality? Now I feel I can't order without seeing the product in person.
It's just okayKimberleeThe size is exactly what I was looking for. I'm disappointed in the willow material itself. It is rather thin and brittle. I anticipated a beefier material for the price. It feels like I will need to treat it gingerly so the willow won't break.
Do not buyAbigailI bought this along with the RÅGRUND bench for my bathroom. For being the same price, they are of completely different levels of quality. This piece was delivered to my home and arrived partially damaged. The material quality of the basket and the bag inside is thin and feels like it will break or tear further quite easily in the future.
PerfectPatYes, the wicker is somewhat fragile & not the quality I was accustomed to from Ikea on my past purchases, but the laundry basket is nice and the liner is subdivided nicely to separate my husbands work clothes from my clothes and a small pocket for my intimates. We are happy with our purchase.
Nothing to Write Home AboutDeeThis hamper is designed to make sure that you do laundry often. It’s quite small and low to the ground. This might be good for a kids room, but it’s not gonna serve my purpose. The assembly is straightforward and doesn’t require much effort.. I’m trying to figure out why they added a strange fabric pouch to hold a tiny little screw packet. The pouch just hangs awkwardly. I suppose you could turn it inside out and put a couple of pair of no-show socks in it, but it doesn’t have much purpose.
Material not very sturdy YinjieThe basket came broken on the bottom. Material is very fragile. It came with no packaging inside of the box which probably caused the damage.
A nice hamper for laundryJasonIt’s just what the title states. It’s easy to assemble and performs as intended. The hamper is better than a pile of laundry one the floor.
Also good for bedroom storageLauraI am actually using this hamper to store out of season bedding. It was easy to assemble and looks attractive, plus it is better made and cheaper and better looking than other options I looked at.
Nice but fragileLindseyI love the design and the double bag system. However the wicker is a little fragile and if you knock it wrong with little effort the wicker can bend. I just take care to be gentle with it.
Sturdy Two-Section HamperDeborahVery sturdy, easy to put together and the cloth section that divides it into two is strong.
Not worth it for the price MonicaArrived and was fairly easy to assemble. One of the metal pieces was a little bent so the screw had a hard time going in. In addition, some of the wicker was broken and created some sharp edges. For the price point it is not worth it, it should be listed closer to $40.
