NÄSINGE Extendable table, white, 51 1/8/74 3/4x31 1/2 "
NÄSINGE tables feature refined details, including chamfered legs and tabletop with an edge profile, adding elegance and a classic touch while softening sharp corners.
This 4-seat table can easily be extended into a 6-seat table using the included self-storing leaf.
The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.
The extension leaf increases the overhang at each end of the table creating generous space for two more people at the short ends.

Product support poorVrginiaVery nice looking, mostly easy to assemble. However, step 17 has no holes or reasonable way to complete it, and the chat bot is infuriating trying to get product support. After long wait times, no human actually responds, so I hope this step is included in error or is not critical
Easy to self assemble with the right toolsJannaI put this together by myself in an about an hour or so (40 something female for reference). I had previously bought the IKEA tool kit ($15) and used the pz2 bit, which is not quite a regular Phillips head so I think that’s what made it much easier and no screws were stripped. The table looks beautiful and much more expensive than it was. Very happy with it overall.
Extremely hard to self assemble Anonymous reviewerThe table seems to be of decent quality, but the hardware needs to be easier to install. The very first step requires a lot of torque, with the screws being easily stripped. The holes either need to be pre tapped or enlarged as I had to eventually have someone come out to build it after stripping the screws :(
Extremely difficult to put together Anonymous reviewerI drove about 200 miles round trip to get this as the store near me didn’t have it. After I picked it up I went to the display area but it wasn’t on the showroom floor. I just wanted to see how it was to insert the leaf then store it. I went ahead and took it home since the measurements fit the area I needed it for.
Let me tell you-the quality of IKEA’s hardware is a JOKE. Some of the predrilled holes in the “wood” weren’t deep enough. When I went to remove some of the screws the head of the screw stripped. Also many cheesy plastic pieces that didn’t hold. I finally used gorilla glue on them. Had to use a Dremmel to cut off the stripped heads on some of the screws. Used crazy glue on some of that as well.
When I FINALLY finished it, it looks good after rubbing it down with furniture oil. The trick was to get the leaf out once I made sure it was properly assembled. That too was tricky.
Hopefully it will hold together with use. IKEA has really gone downhill.
DecentFranciaBought this for our breakfast nook. The table has a simple design and the leaf is way to connect or store. The only knock on it is that the top is not solid wood but veneer.
Sturdy and flexible MatthewMy 14 year old daughter and I put this together last night. The instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow. Some of the screws were very difficult to get in and I stripped more than a couple. It's weird when a pair of pliers is handier to drive a screw than a screwdriver. I really like how the table turned out. When I was putting it together, I was a little wait wouldn't be very sturdy, but it feels like I could stand on it. In the title I also said it is flexible. By that, I mean if you need a longer table, hey, guess what- you've got a longer table. A latch allows the table top to slide and gives you access to a leaf that increases the table's length by a third. One last comment/ complaint. Be careful with the table tops during assembly. My tabletop and leaf are pretty badly scratched from being on the floor during assembly. I would suggest assembling on a carpet or towel. Other than that, I think the table is a great value
