Uncomfortable and a dust/hair magnetFernandoI’m trying to like the MANNARP sofa because it looks great and assembling was easy, but using it for the last three months hoping it would break in and get more comfortable, didn’t work. The seat is just too firm for me that after a long day at work, I actually find myself looking for somewhere else to sit. The fabric also attracts hair and dust really easily, so it needs more upkeep than I expected. I’m still debating whether to keep it or return it since my wife says it’s ok and give it another try but I’m not sure I’ll be able. I really like how it looks, but for me, comfort is the most important thing for a sofa, and unfortunately, this one hasn't worked for me.1
Hard seatJanWe liked the style of the Mannarp sofa, and it was easy to assemble, but the loveseat version had such a hard seat that we're returning the sofa, still in the box. The sofa floor model was softer, maybe from use, but we'd like comfort now. Darn3
A nice, firm couch.JohnI have slept on this couch many times. I have found it pretty comfortable. I love the upholstery material, and love that it is washable, though I haven't had occasion to wash it yet. One of the caps broke off the leg, a pretty easy fix, but it could be assembled better, I think.4
Great sofa!StevenThis is the perfect sofa. Having one big cushion to make up the seat means no saggy dips between cushions, especially important while lounging or lying on the sofa. The seat is nicely firm, but not hard, while the back cushions are nice and cushy. The back cushions stay nicely in place. I wasn't sure about the Saxemara fabric because it's like very fine-wale corduroy but it turns out to be great fabric for a home with 2 dogs...dog hair brushes off easily, a nice bonus! I'm very happy with my new sofa.5
