All part not included +1NicolasThe complete items needed to use the bed frame with a mattress are sold separately! The slats are needed but there is no clear notice of this is given in the web page. The center support beam is not included but at least this is clearly noted when buying the bed frame. Now I have to make another purchase, this is a waste of time
All parts not included JodyWhen we went through the self check out (only option that day) the screen reminded us to check for box 1 and 2 and center support beam (sold separately). However, it forgot to mention support slats (apparently now sold separately). We’ve built a lot of IKEA furniture over the years and they’ve always come with it. These beds were prominently displayed on an end cap and it would have been soooooo easy to put signage that says don’t forget support beam and slats. Even better you could have had them available right beside the bed ready for pick up. Now heading back to the store, a 3 1/2 hour drive to pick up slats. Please do better IKEA!
holes at headboard need a coverKerryWhere the headboard attaches to the frame, there is a hole where the nut is tightened down to hold it, but it seems like there should be some sort of a cover over the hole that would make it appear finished and not missing something.
Very difficult assemblyBlakeI have built dozens of IKEA furniture pieces and none were remotely this difficult. I cannot get the cams to align and join the frame at the corners. I’m at a loss of what to do and I wish I didn’t buy this bed.
New unopened box from As-Is but is missing pieceJoanneThis is technically an amazing buy for the price from the As-is section. We were very excited to get to buy a brand new bed frame that only had a little damage to the box and was told it was brand new/unopened. Finally was able to put it together in our room only to find that the middle metal support beam was missing. I don't understand how it could be a brand new box but be missing one of the most important pieces? Will be contacting our Ikea to see what is going on/what they can do about this missing piece. Luckily we still have our old mattress but will be sleeping on the floor with my toddler, newborn, and husband tonight until we can get that missing piece.
