Good Desk with One FlawTaylorI bought this little desk to fit a small area in my personal space where I craft. It fits well and looks great with my other Lommarp pieces, even if they're not all the same color. It's a shame I couldn't get it in blue-green anymore. It gives me enough space to set up my cross-stitch stand and spread a few things out. I found the desk mats from Society 6 fit the top perfectly too!
That being said, I did knock a star because I wasn't too thrilled with how the legs went together. They're mostly pieces where you screw a blunt ended piece into one plank, insert it into another, then put in a little circle metal piece into a hole on the second piece that fits over the screw, and you tighten it to hold it together. It was very wobbly until you get them all tightened and there are a lot of them to tighten. I would have preferred to actually have the pieces screwed together instead of held together by opposing force. I'm afraid of the desk being unsteady if one loosens.

The assembly was unnecessarily complicated with poor instructions. For over $250 this is not the quality and experience I expected.

Nice look for a simple desk and easy to assembleEricThis item had many more parts than it first appeared so it took a little longer than expected to assemble. But like all my IKEA furniture experiences the instructions were easy to follow and it was another fun project.
The drawer has a nice feel to the slide operation and the cable tray offers a great place to keep excess cords and power supplies.
Great Desk!LaurenI purchased to downsize from a big clunky Sauder desk. I love the look of this desk & it will help me keep the clutter away with the smaller surface area. I did purchase a Vattenkar laptop/monitor stand to put my lamp, phone charger, other gadgets on, which in turn gave more storage space underneath the stand. I also purchased a Susig cork desk pad so that I don't damage the surface or need a mouse pad. This desk was easy to assemble by myself, I did ask my husband to assist twice. I was not shorted hardware, all hardware fit perfectly, all holes aligned. Those complaining that it was hard to assemble need to compare to a piece of Sauder - the complaints will end! I feel the assembled product is sturdy, well made and thoughtfully detailed (love the hidden compartment - keeps all the wires out of sight). My ONLY complaint is the drawer. It's nice & deep, but only pulls out about halfway. Hard to access the other half drawer & I don't understand why it is designed this way...weird.

Beautifully EngineeredCheregAs experienced Ikea assemblers, we found this a complex build but finished within 2 hours. All parts were included and exact, directions were clear. Thrilled with the finished piece to sit between twin beds in our guest room. It's sturdy and attractive. Warm grey/beige finish isn't glossy so we'll protect the top with a (16" x 32") clear desk mat pad.

Too small, too many pieces, not qualityAsmaThe desk took too long to assume. A couple woods pieces cracked during installation. Not worth the price but we were in need of a desk for school. Would not recommend this desk.

Too Expensive for what it isAnnetteThe blue-green desk was anything but. It was more like a dark gray charcoal color. Desk is super cute and just the right size; however, as another reviewer mentioned, the drawer does not extend much, maybe 8 inches. Doesn't make sense as the drawer is deep enough to easily extend a good 14 inches. Would've been an annoyance easily overlooked were it not for the hefty price.

Not made correctly.Anonymous reviewerLeg number four is not drilled correctly, the wooden pegs line up with the camlock‘s do not. After a lot of confusion trying to fit it together I ended up not using the camlock‘s and just gluing the wooden dowels together.
