A simple design with a solid construction and good looks.SabinTook minutes to assemble and offers a solid weighted feel. Easy to break down when moving. The ash two tone had a little more contrast than the display, floor model but added a much needed character to as not appear as a blank finish. It is suitable for my needs but those looking to add placemats take note that they would overlap. 4 chairs just fits barely, allowing them to stick out from the tables edge by around 6 inches. Again, suitable for my needs as my new space required I downsize but the table does not lose it's distinctive quality. I added a table lamp to the center which gave it a lounge like feel and completed the look. My 10 year old said it felt like we were dining at an Italian restaurant. I'll take it.5
Nice Table AshleyNice, solid, heavy table. Looks really good, assembly was a breeze. The only downside to it is it scratches really easily. I mean I sat a laundry basket on top and now it’s scratched. So, maybe look into getting a thick lacquer on it if you buy it. 4

AnonS KThe table is working fine, but the legs are not always level, meaning the table rocks about 1/8 inch . . . this is a common problem with IKEA tables, also there is a concern of take apart - mover - reassemble in the future4

Good design and looks strong, but...JuanI love the design of this table. It is somewhat heavy, but easy to assemble and as long as you tight legs enough it doesn't move (like other Ikea models).
However, I'm giving only 2 stars for two reasons. The corners of the carton packaging were so sharp that they cut like a blade. I ended up with 4 cuts in my fingers just when loading it into the cart.
Second reason is that there was a strong chemical smell after opening the package. Not wood smell, but chemicals.
I guess as the product comes from China, probably the coating is full of toxics. Or at least not matching western standards.
I think that having a package that doesn't act like a meat knife is something basic. I got very dissapointed. 2
