Impossible to completeAnBought 2 of these but both are impossible to complete. My sister and I were both working then together, but once we both got to the final step of the drawers, it was impossible to finish. THE HOLES WERE DRILLED IN THE WRONG PLACES, and so the rear panel of both drawers cannot be secured since the holes are not aligned.

Cheap quality, you can tell they tried to cut costs, lots of plastic parts. It doesn’t slide smoothly since the slider is plastic with no wheels so it’s just friction and hard to open. No slides, impossible to open. UnusableFranciscoLike most I have been shopping ikea for decades, I had to create an account to review this piece of furniture because it is so bad. I built this excitedly with my 6 year old son who wanted a nightstand and when we finished it we realized that the drawer cannot open unless you hold the nightstand down it's a plastic channel instead of slides and it's completely useless as a piece of furniture. My son was devastated and cried because he couldn't get the piece of furniture to work in his room and now we have to return it and he is so sad. What's the point of making furniture this cheap if it cannot be used as intended, that is just a waste of money

Drawer is hard to openValentinaThis nightstand may not be the best option if you’re looking for smooth functionality. The drawer is difficult to open and requires holding the stand down to pull it out. Since it isn’t built with a standard track and wheels, it doesn’t glide as easily as you might expect.
Worst Experience with an IKEA Product Anonymous reviewerI bought two of these. One of them came without the front face the drawer! The other one was complete, but is extremely hard to open and close the drawer. It doesn’t have rails like normal drawers and the friction of wood on plastic aren’t a good alternative. Very disappointing, I will be returning these.
Extremely poor drawer slide designRezaHonestly, this has been the most shockingly poor Ikea product I have ever purchased. Ikea went with a friction-inducing wood on plastic drawer slide design instead of reliable wheeled drawer slides.
This means that the friction of opening the drawer in huge, and pulling out the drawer will pull the entire nightstand forward unless you consciously use a hand hand to hold the nightstand in place . Of course, this will also cause anything that is resting on top of the nightstand to tip over.
I will go as far to say that this is a hazardous design that can result in injury if a lamp or heavy object falls and breaks on the floor.
This will be returned and I hope Ikea will remove this nightstand from their catalog and replace it with one that has proper drawer slides.
It’s fineAnonymous reviewerI haven’t purchased from IKEA in some time, but I do remember the directions being way easier to follow. I rarely have trouble with assembly but I had numerous leftover parts because I couldn’t figure it out. The piece is functional and looks nice.
