Defective JoenessaI just bought this earlier and immediately open it when I got home. I don’t know why there’s a little damage.

IKEA Coffee Table – Damaged ProductFerihaI recently purchased a coffee table from IKEA. When I opened the package, I noticed that the tabletop was damaged. The middle section was broken and slightly sunken.
I decided not to return the table because I didn’t want to go through the return process. I thought I might be able to cover or repair the damaged area myself.
However, I still wanted to share my experience because I believe the product may have already been damaged before it was shipped. The outer packaging was completely intact, with no visible signs of damage, while the inner packaging showed some damage.
For this reason, I don’t think the damage occurred during delivery. I believe the table may have been shipped in a damaged condition.
I wanted to bring this issue to your attention because I expected better quality control from IKEA.

Construction 3/10, finished item 9/10JessicaMajor flaw with instructions having a huge double headed screw be indicated for just doing with your hands. No tool for it. Trying any tools stripped the threading. Threading makes it impossible to grip with your bare hand. I have excellent grip and good upper body strength and it was really hard.

Lack coffee tableLindaInstructions are poor...words, not just pictures, would be very helpful.
There also should be pre-drilled holes in the legs for attaching the shelf. The template was not helpful!
The tables should be okay in the garage where they will be used for storage, but because they did not go together perfectly because the holes weren't pre-drilled, they would not be good as coffee tables.
