Amazing concept, poor productionAlexanderSo, look. The design is wonderful, the space is perfect, but the manufacturing is not. I had multiple holes that were drilled incorrectly, where I could even see the outline of where they were supposed to screw. It was by a LOT. About 3/4 through putting it together, I found a piece where the wood was split.
I really love this, I truly do. I’d love to get a second one, but I am very worried about quality, and it is too heavy to exchange.2
See the assembly instructions before buyingBernadetteOh my, I thought I found the perfect drawers until I saw the 27 page instructions. Check out how many parts and how many screws, etc. The wood has numerous inperfections and I wonder how it will hold up over time.1
Abhorrent set up, but great end resultClarePlease DO NOT waste your time and money for this product. We got 2 of these and both of them were produced faulty. On the very first step, one of the legs had the hole drilled in on the wrong side. We called customer service to get a new part, but ended up crashing out (but its not to the fault of the kronoren(actually it was, i take that back). Once we drilled in a new hole and put more pieces together, the horizontal supports wouldn't align so we had to shave wood off so the screw would fit. After that, the back horizontal beam couldn't fit in one of the back legs so we drilled 3 more holes! Besides the forced woodworking class, and the 5 hours it took to build because they gave us faulty pieces I really like the end product. Still 1 star because the crash out that ensued in my home was insufferable.
TLDR if your fine with crashing out over bad parts and learning how to woodwork, this is an excellent addition to your home.

Great value but make sure you have a drill on handRenBought a pair of these dressers to use as nightstands, and on two of the side panels for the drawers, the pilot holes were several mm away from where they should be (one of them actually intersected the slot that the drawer bottom panel fits into, so the screw completely blocked the panel). We had to bust out the power tools and drill new pilot holes where the old ones should have been to assemble it. Otherwise drawers move smoothly and it's a great price for solid wood.
If I didn't happen to have power tools already, this would be a one star review.3

Returned literally the next day. Bad quality.JoyceI was really excited to pick this up at my local IKEA because I was like wow solid wood for this price? Well, now I understand why. I tried to put it together and the wood cracked from inserting dowels, parts of the panels warped and the holes do not align. This thing got me so angry, I returned it the next day and even explained to the associate why I hated it. It seems in other countries, this item is produced better based on the reviews I read. In USA, it's terrible.1
