Does not fit 13gal bagsShaynaIt may say it's a 13gal bin, but standard 13gal trash bags *struggle* to fit without tearing. They do tear as you remove them to empty the bin.

Good looking trashcan, but tricky to load bagsWarrenI think the Knockla trash can looks good, and the textured accents elevate it beyond other plastic competitors. However, it is difficult to load 13 gallon trash bags since the top is so wide. There is also a confusing plastic piece that makes it harder to load trash bags.

Not soft close, not 13 gallonEI was so excited to find this (though the price was steep for plastic) as it will fit the space and I've struggled to find the right depth can. It doesn't have a soft close lid so far as it just bangs down and 13 gallon bags with the pull ties don't fit around the top; may try other types of 13 gallon bags. This may go back to the store!

Was so excited to get a new trash can, advertised as 13 gallon size. Unfortunately...Christopherstandard plastic trash bags for 13 gallons do not fit over the top of the trash can, rendering it useless. Going to return it next time I go to Syracuse. Sigh.
Needed 30gal trash bagBeverlyFrustrating that 13 gallon advertised doesn't fit (what will I do with that box of trash bags??) but I've found 30 gallon size works well. This was much less than metal can alternatives and has worked well for several months. It opens well and has a slow close. Agree with another reviewer that it was hard to get the large sticker off it. Generally I'm happy with it.

- most 13 gallon trash bags don't fit since the trashcan is so tall
- plastic pedal mechanism broke
- putting trashbag in is annoying due to weird "thing" on top of trash can body
It never fit all 13 gallon trash bags, the pedal mechanism broke for no reason (rendering it a conventional trash can with no foot pedal), and not many color options are available, not to mention other retailers offer better products at a cheaper price point.
Sticker is a painPatrickFirst off, 13 gallon bags fit. Watch the video in the photos! Second: Ikea, why is there a poster sized paper sticker on this thing!? It ripped in to 400 pieces trying to peel it off. Not a fun experience. Trash can is great otherwise.

It’s not for 13 gallon thrash bagsAyseThis is definitely lying to the customers. Because you are selling a 13 gallon thrash can but 13 gallon thrash bags won’t fit it in. Why do you even write for 13 gallon than? Now I how I will return this product. Don’t recommend buying it.
Lid broke second time opening itDonnaWhen attaching the lid I noticed one side seemed to be warped. It seemed to attach fine but almost every other time I open it with the foot pedal it pops off the hinge. Very frustrating and will be returning.
Standard trash bags don't fit. Latch broke after a month.AlexandriaStandard trash bags don't fit. Additionally, the latch for opening and closing the top lid broke after only about a month. Just a total miss by Ikea where I've always been mostly satisfied.
Not bad but not good! CarolinaIt's very light. I like the design but looks like it probably won't last much. Doesn't look that strong. Definitely you need bags without drawstring. So far, I don't love it but I don't hate it hahaha
