So close, yet so farTrennaFirst, YET ANOTHER new IKEA product made with misaligned holes, poor sanding, and spotty finish. My home has been 90% IKEA for 25 years, this never used to happen, and it's occurred on 75% of the $3000 of all-wood products we've bought in the past year in all different product lines. I *do* like the height: yes it's not ideal but having 2 shelves for shoes, a solid top, and clearance underneath was in theory perfect for our need (2 shelves for shoes, top area for containers to catch mail, room beneath for a robot vacuum). The color is awful though, that cool toned grey color was "hot" in 2016 and is on its way out and this doesn't even "hit" that grey that *was* in style, it looks like poorly applied primer. Lastly the diagonal legs don't match the shape of the rest of this line or anything else from IKEA. Wish they'd made it just clear laquer. All told, too many issues to keep, so returned it.2

Glue all the dowel rods where they are used for extra strength. Added screws to strengthen the 1st storage rack in place. Unit does not rack any with these modifications.4
Cheap and difficult to assembleRebeccaWe have bought and put together many IKEA products and this is by far the worst. The holes didn’t line up properly so the screws wouldn’t go in. We’ve put together ikea beds and hutches that were easier to assemble. Do not recommend this product.2
Bad customer serviceAmyTwo of the legs in the box were wrong. It has been weeks and I’m still waiting on a resolution from customer service. I’m beyond frustrated.1
