10/10Jo’MelEasy to assemble and looks really good in a moody space. 5
A Kallax that holds BluRays!DennisFinally a Kallax that will hold BluRays (confirmed with a visit to my local store). (Still kind of a tight fit - especially with the disc "slipcovers" on - but the standard cases WILL fit. (I never understood the standard shelf design that had shelves about 1/4" too short for DVDs and BluRays. Now - at last - a Kallax good for all media (but waiting for a version in traditional colors.3
love love loveZoeLooks like the picture. the color is so nice. love it5
Moody and differentMattBeautiful colour and just different enough to catch your eye. Great addition to our living room and study5
Nice design but another low quality itemJeffIkea quality and care continues to slip. The design is the only reason I came to Ikea but otherwise, the quality is the same as and other low price retailer. The worst part is the scratches and dents all over from poor packing and handling.3
Beautiful additionKatherineLove the color5
Great shelf!RafaelVery easy to assemble. Holds a lot of books. And the color looks great with my decor5
BeautifulKimberlyEasy to put together. Sturdy. Great color.5
LegosAdayshiaI love these shelves they are not heavy as I expected very light weight and I love the green color I have 2 hoping they are back in stock soon I would like 2 purchase 2 more for my Lego collection 5
Great shelving UnitDeniseTHe green is gorgeous. It is solid and looks great as a room divider!!5
Pretty but cheaply madeBrandonWe loved this color. As we began to assemble it, we noticed the wood is actually hollow inside. A few pieces you can here something rolling around inside of them. Again, beautiful but cheaply made.3
Slight scuff marks/bent woodJuanMy girlfriend and I purchased this shelf to use as a tv stand/storage space. Upon opening and taking out all the materials we noticed that there was several small scuffs and two semi big parts with wood that seemed to be pushed in. The rest was very nice and easy to build alone or together with someone if looking for a way to display or keep storage but dont mind scuff and some small paint chips I would get this.4
LoveJasonWish these came in more color options love this green would of loved to get the 2 shelf in the same color but it’s not available.5
Beautiful!!MarleneI just absolutely love this!! It’s stunning and the color is beautiful!!5
Not too shabbyGiselleAbsolutely love the green. It did require two people to assemble, just because the material is really cheap and I don’t want to risk breaking anything. It’s nice for the price and will do for now!4
Easy to build and great colorCIt was easy to put together, especially once you get the first shelf put in. Really enjoy the green.5
As a professional fabricator CourtneyThis is excessively fragile and delicate. There are no labels to differentiate the 'asymmetrical' shelves, just different holes. I feel like the average person could easily break this while assembling it because of the need to take it apart and reassemble when you make an error. The material is like corrugated cardboard with a plastic outer layer. I almost broke it despite the fact that I professionally build and assemble things on a daily basis. I bought 2 and deeply regret it. 2
Pieces drilled wrongKayleePieces didn’t line up like the directions stated and then some of the outside framing pieces were drilled wrong and the screws wouldn’t go in correctly 2
paint scratches easily, came in pre-damaged and sounding like its full of rocksMikahThe color is nice but fresh out of the box the shelves had scratched off paint, bubbling, and peeling in a lot of very obvious places that arent hidden by the shelves later. There are also rough edges on the shelves so its probably more of a green veneer than green paint, and the pegs you have to use can damage the paint upon putting them in or pulling shelves out if you make any mistakes. The shelf is really light which I don't mind but the pieces all sound like they're completely hollow except for some weird rattling from every shelf, like there's debris floating around on the inside. The box didn't show any outside damage and it had been out of stock for a while so I'm disappointed that when I finally get my hands on it it's covered in dust and scratches on the inside and probably needs to be touched up with paint to look presentable. The paint is so easy to scratch that running your fingernail over it damages it and peeling off ikeas stickers rips off half the paint. Avoid this.1
Looks nice but not strong enough for heavy mediaAmyWe bought this unit less than a year ago and within months, shelves have sagged and warped. We have many other expedit/kallax units and this is the only one that does that. The offset verticals don’t support the shelves enough. Recommend only for display objects, not for books or records.1
