Perfect insertKarenThis insert has allowed for several shelves in the Kallax unit to serve as a table for a reclining chair. The 2x2 cube unit allows for a tall lamp to act like a floor lamp, and the top is high enough to use as a place for a planner and recording information. This partition is used in 2 of the cubes to give more shelving for items to be close at hand. The person who uses the chair finds it convenient to use it for many different items. As the person has some mobility issues. Having these shelves along with the unit has allowed more independence for the person who sits in the chair.

Kallax insertAthenathe Kallax insert is easy to assemble. It does seem flimsy when initially assembled, however this makes it easier to place inside the Kallax cubicle. It can be placed horizontally or vertically depending on your needs for the space. I have a Kallax with inserts and baskets for my sewing and craft supplies. I have another Kallax in a closet, and it holds vintage Christmas decorations and Christmas dishes. The inserts work beautifully with both of them.
No good bins for the half height shelf VictorEasy to use and assemble, but the don't anchor in the cabinet and there are no bins (Dröna or otherwise) that fill out the half height space.

Simple, Practical, ModernBarbaraOn a relatively small budget, I was able to create a small office within a larger bedroom. I used 3 Mittzon acoustic screens to enclose my sit-stand office desk and 3 Kallax shelf units (with double-drawer inserts and shelf inserts). The result was a very functional and attractive office.
