Loved it for 7 years now.ElizabethWe have used this couch in a bonus /guest room for years. It's firn which I don't mind. The design is genius, so easy to pull out we do it just for movie night and put it right back. No creaking of traditional icky sofa bed.It's basically a futon. The material is durable and looks good with accent pillows. For guest sleeping there is a gap so to speak where the two pieces come together, more like a dip where the two pieces come together but no big deal. We cover with a pillow top pad and have put an "egg carton" foam cushion under that for guests that are staying more than a night. I love the linen storage underneath. It's been durable, washable and I hope Ikea never discontinues it!

The couch and bed is very firm, but I ordered a queen size gel topper and it's perfect. They both told me it was super comfy and it looks very nice. The firm couch was also perfect.
NOT COMFORTABLEDeborahGot this sofa sleeper when the pandemic started 2020 It wasn't exactly comfortable but it was alright. Sleeping on it was another thing. It's super hard there's virtually no cushioning, got a 3" memory foam topper. As time goes on the padding under the seat degraded so the frame is pushing through to the surface. The 3" foam isn't enough either so added a quality mattress cover but even it's not enough my 120# daughter uses it exclusively. The cover is great! Our rotten little Siames cat likes to scratch on it when no one is around entertaining him & he's barely made it look worn. It's definitely easy to wash & with 3 cats & 1 lab puppy it definitely washes up nicely! 2 covers mean we can change the living room easily the memory foam topper w/ the fluffy cover fits in storage! If they would have only added decent padding it would have been perfect! As is we need to replace it within 2 years! Yes they say you can return it but finding the help & truck in the pandemic was a joke!
Goold looking but very uncomfortableJaimeIt looks really nice, but that is it. Sleeping on it is really unpleasant. I had to buy a memory foam pad to be able to use it. The cushions are also really "flat/sturdy," again, looks good, but very uncomfortable.

Not as soft and comfy as in-store model.WayneThe cushions are very firm. Pillows aren't exactly soft and plump either. I was able to add a 1 1/4" foam mattress topper under the seating cover, there was enough slack to do so. Has made it a little better. I understand firm is good as a bed but was hoping for a little better compromise as a sofa. Went back to store and confirmed ours is no where near as soft and comfy.
goes the distanceAmyI have had this sleeper sofa for 4 years now and it still looks great and functions as expected. Of course when I bought it, it was 1/2 the cost and the covers were cheaper too. I do love being able to wash the covers if they get dirty, and rotate between the gray and blue colors. I have yet to have a stain I couldn't get out. My children are grown , but I could also see how the arms might have and issue if young children were hanging off them, as they tend to do.

The customer service is unreachable, was on the hold for an hour after someone picked up to forward me to the representative, waited another hour and automated system said that it can not connect me with anyone.
Cheaply MadeVerified BuyerWe bought this less than a year ago. The concept is great! But the materials are cheap. The arm rests insides are particle board and the nails holding it together slip right out and the arms start to hang. I would definitely purchase some where else. The price you pay, you can get a real quality couch.

It was delivered as scheduled and we had it put together in less than an hour. It looks great and is comfortable in each of its dual purposes. It is roomy to sit on and the five pillows provide adequate back support. It is extremely easy to open and close, and very pleasant to sleep on. It is a well designed piece and I particularly like the storage area for bedding, and the fact that the covers are washable and that you can purchase additional covers.
