Excellent purchaseCristinaVery well made with plenty of storage. I’ve purchased two of them. They were easy to put together, with two people it took about 1 hour.5
Love this item! Very sturdy.MARYELLENLove this item! Very sturdy. Looks great!5
I love the lookNICOLEI love the look of it, but I really wish it had four legs and didn't have to be connected to the wall.3
I love it and perfect.ArturoI love it and perfect.5
Bathroom storageDawnThis was perfect in our smaller bathroom. We needed something for towels and such, since there is nothing near by for these sort of things. Fits everything so well. Very sturdy and easy to put together.5
Glad I got itAdamThis makes a huge difference to the look of our bathroom. A little tricky getting the doors to line up but that's standard for cabinet doors like this. Getting it screwed into the wall can be tricky as well so just take your time. Nothing is ever hard, just need to know what you intend to do.5
Love it!TamiQuality top notch, easy instructions for assembly. Love this brand.5
Love how it looks inJACKIELove how it looks in my bathroom. The quality looks like I spent so much more on it than I did.5
Great storageRoseThis is perfect. Room for a lot of storage of bathroom falappa. Made well. No issues.5
On a 1-5 scale for instalation this is a 2?Stacie B.This is more like a pieces of furniture than a go-room rack. But it does matters if what you have now has not aged well. The look is good, solid, tall for many go-rooms, and the distance between the lower shelf and the :toilet: is a lot. Paying to have someone put it together might be helpful ...If you are not a DIY person. After 4-months now ...it works:+1:3
great addition to a bathroom that doesn"t have cabinetsRene R.Solid piece of furniture for "over the toilet" storage. Warning, if you are putting this in a 'closet' bathroom remember to measure your space width. Cabinet is 29 1/8" and our walls were 30". Had to remove the top board to clear the molding and need tall ceiling to lift over toilet paper holder. (Angle back and push up and it will fit.) Then reattach top board. Very heavy and tall. Would be nice if pulls were silver rather than dark gray, but will replace with same ones used in bathroom to match. Definitely better quality than Pottery Barn or Target cabinets. Does not come with anchor screws or molly-bolts to secure to wall.4
Perfect fitMichelleThis shelf fit perfect in my bathroom.5
Absolutely Beautiful!WENDYThis unit is solid, sturdy, and very very well-made! The only change I would make is to provide black knobs for the cabinets (vs charcoal gray). I called customer service to see if they had black knobs. They only had a part number which didn’t indicate what the color was. They sent replacements and they were identical to the ones that come with the unit. Other than the Color of the knobs, everything else is beautiful! It’s very very well-made! And it comes with quiet self-close hinges!5
Over toilet storageJayVery high quality unit. Instructions are good except how to put doors on and adjust.5
Looks better in person!CHERRYACEEasy assembly, but challenging to handle and position when anchoring to the wall. Be mindful of this if you are assembling by yourself...it is very heavy!!! Packages do not come with wall anchors/screws, so make sure you have some on hand. There is plenty of storage room. The cabinet is very sturdy and does not look or feel cheap. The picture does not do this justice. It looks awesome in my half bathroom!!!5
Good quality, Quite LargeMichaelThis storage cabinet works great, very good fit and finish. It is quite a bit larger than other over-the-toilet cabinets you'll see available from other stores. This can be great if you have room and lack storage in the bath overall. My wife can't reach the top two shelves, and the sheer size makes it imposing as well as a bit plain...4
Very good quality for theAnonymous reviewerVery good quality for the money.5
Great storage for power roomMattThis storage unit works very well in a power room or other small bathroom. It has enough room to store many rolls of bathroom tissue along with a full sized can of Ajax.5
Barron storage cabinetROBGreat and beautiful product at a very low cost5

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

Material

What is fiberboard?

Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are – and this determines what we use them for. So regardless if it’s a bed, a wardrobe or your new bathroom cabinet, the leftover wooden fiber becomes a resource instead of going to waste.
