Really good bedRyanThis bed is a really nice bed. It’s sturdy and looks nice. I was trying to find a cheap bed for the guest bedroom but didn’t like the ones with pegs. This checks all the boxes. It even comes with slats.5
Okay frame but supports could be betterRobertI wouldn't say I'm a big guy, but the frame has its pros and cons. Initially, the bed frame is great. It felt sturdy and wasn't too hard to build. The thing I worry about are the support brackets on the side. If you sit/sleep on one side of the bed enough time, eventually the metal will begin to bend down and the slats can slip off. So one day you sleep well, and when you sit up/down, you immediately 'break the bed' by sinking into it. The fix is relatively simple: just reposition the slats again on the already bent metal, but that involves lifting the mattress every time. I need to purposefully try to step to the middle of the bed since the wooden support is the strongest there. You cant bounce too much on it, is what I'm trying to say. It's also best to not move the bed (as in repositioning) as much since the skinny rods in the middle can loosen with the one screw used to keep the supports in place. Overall, you get what you pay for. Good cheap frame, but support rods is bad.3
