In the GULLABERG series there is furniture for various storage needs, all in a robust-traditional design that helps you create a practical, organized and uniform home to enjoy for a long time.
The GULLABERG series comprises of chest of drawers, bedside tables and PAX doors with carefully designed functions and a beautiful traditional style. Complete with a bed in the same style, for example STJÄRNÖ.
This easy-to-place chest of drawers has 3 smooth-running drawers with plenty of space for your things.
You can use the top for display and add a glass top to protect the surface.
Wooden knobs enhance the genuine and traditional look.
High tapered legs create a light and airy expression – and make it easier for you to vacuum under your chest of drawers.
Adjustable feet make it possible to compensate for any irregularities in the floor.
By anchoring the chest of drawer to the wall, you unlock the safety feature and can open all the drawers simultaneously when needed.

Functional but Dull ColorKarenDisplay in Houston looked like a bright yellow, but when we traveled back to NM and assembled the dresser, it was a dull yellow. Disappointed
Disappointed in IKEALisaThe top’s holes didn’t align. I found a way around it but am very disappointed. I would have returned it but there are too many pieces to try and fit back in the box. It’s in a spare bedroom so it will serve its purpose.

Never had these problems with HemnesJenniferSeveral holes weren't drilled for steps 25 they 30. One of them that was there wasn't deep enough to accept the screw. I'd return it but I've already spent several hours trying to make it work and don't want to build another thing. If it had been the first steps, I'd have packed it up for sure because it's also not at nice looking as the Hemnes. I definitely wouldn't recommend or repurchase.
Good little dresser for the priceKristineThe only wood in this dresser are the knobs. The particleboard back and bottom panels give it weight, so at least it feels substantial.
The optional glass top has 3 holes drilled in it and it requires screws and unsightly metal clasps. I don’t like screw holes in fiberboard coated with Acrylic paint, so I ordered clear glass table top bumpers to keep it from sliding, although you do still have 3 holes along the back. About the assembly instructions. IKEA needs to invest in software that allows more precision in their illustrations. These are better than the ones that look like they were drawn freehand with a black marker, but they could be better.
The drawer slides for the cabinet are marked IKEA CL and IKEA CR. The L means left side, the R right, and those are stamped in the metal. The drawer slides that go on the drawers are stamped DL and DR, but the instructions do NOT include that information. I recommend using a magnetic Phillips screwdriver for the small screws.
Sturdy and we like the new safety featureSerinaIt is very sturdy and looks fantastic. It took 3 hours (with a very distractible brain) to put together but well worth it. The new safety feature are genius. Our suggestion.... Take your time, look at the pictures in the instruction book and let the dresser off gas for a few hours before putting stuff inside.
We caught it on sale ($30 off) and it was worth the price.
Ikea for the win again!
Not a good purchaseKathyI had two dressers delivered. One arrived damaged. The boxes was torn and interior items exposed. Plastic pieces for locking the drawers on hindges were broken. Top had damage.
Second dresser had oil like stains on the dresser backing pieces.
The dresser is wobbly. Drawers are not well designed and held together with plastic screws. I regret the decision of purchasing these dressers and do not recommend them.
Works perfectlyAndiThis unit fit in my grandsons closet and holds all their off season clothes. Large drawers help to accommodate that need.

Sub par quality, would not recommendJessicaI never write reviews but this product caught me off guard. First I bought this when they didn’t have Hemnes available. I wish IKea would allow me to return this product and exchange it for a Hemnes. For whatever reason this past spring they didn’t have the Hemnes available and since I had had a great experience with those I bought this. This dresser is flimsy. You are very much getting what you pay for here. The first one we brought home and it was missing parts so I then waited in line at the store over an hour for them to get us the missing parts which they didn’t have in stock. Online they could not have been nicer and they had to ship us a brand new dresser for the part. The missing part is not my complaint, it’s the paint. While I have two Hemnes dressers that have been used by children are both 6 plus years old they don’t show wear. This one showed wear a few months in. The paint is scratching off of it despite it being used by an adult and it looks cheap.

Trickier to assembly but seems sturdy!MarsieThis dresser was probably one of trickier IKEA furniture pieces my husband and I have assembled; however, the dresser feels sturdier than some other drawered items we have previously purchased from IKEA. We like that only one drawer can be open at a time as a safety feature.
Addiontally, we are using this dresser in a nursery and doubling the top as a changing station. The height is decent for this double use (slightly high for my 5'-4" height, but a perfect height for taller folks). The top fits a standard changing pad and has a little extra space to place items.
